أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الثلاثاء) أن بلاده تمتلك ذخائر أكثر بكثير مما تحتاجه، مبيناً أن الشركات الدفاعية توسع مصانعها.
وقال ترمب في تصريحات لـ«فوكس ديجيتال»: «شركاتنا الدفاعية تنتج ذخائر حالياً أكثر من أي وقت على الإطلاق»، مضيفاً: «الشركات الدفاعية الأمريكية توسع مصانعها ومعداتها بمستويات قياسية».
وكانت 3 مصادر مطلعة قالت لـ«رويترز» إن الجيش الأمريكي استخدم معظم مخزونه من الصواريخ بعيدة المدى عالية الدقة، خلال حربه التي اندلعت قبل 5 أشهر مع إيران، ما أثار مخاوف إزاء جاهزيته للصراعات المستقبلية، فيما قال مصدران إن الولايات المتحدة استخدمت تقريباً جميع هذه الأسلحة، ولم تشر أي تقارير من قبل إلى مدى نفاد مخزون الجيش من صواريخ «أتاكمز» و«بريزم».
وامتنعت المصادر عن الإفصاح عن عدد الذخائر المتبقية لدى الولايات المتحدة من كل نوع. ولعبت صواريخ «أتاكمز» الأمريكية دوراً محورياً في حرب أوكرانيا، لأنها مكنت قواتها من مهاجمة أهداف داخل روسيا. أما صواريخ «بريزم» فهي جيل أحدث وأكثر تطوراً سيحل محل صواريخ «أتاكمز» الأقصر مدى منها.
وقال مصدر رابع مطلع لـ«رويترز» إن القيادة المركزية، التي تشرف على القوات الأمريكية في الشرق الأوسط، استخدمت تقريباً كل الصواريخ التي تُطلق من البر والتي كانت لديها قبل بدء الحرب، لكنها تمكنت من إعادة التزود بذخيرة من الإمدادات العسكرية الأمريكية في أماكن أخرى من العالم.

Trump stated in remarks to "Fox Digital": "Our defense companies are currently producing more ammunition than ever before," adding, "American defense companies are expanding their factories and equipment at record levels."
Three informed sources told "Reuters" that the U.S. military has used most of its stockpile of long-range precision missiles during its war that erupted five months ago with Iran, raising concerns about its readiness for future conflicts, while two sources indicated that the United States has used nearly all of these weapons, and no previous reports have indicated the extent of the military's depletion of "ATACMS" and "PrSM" missiles.
The sources refrained from disclosing the number of remaining munitions of each type in the United States. The American "ATACMS" missiles played a pivotal role in the Ukraine war, as they enabled its forces to strike targets inside Russia. The "PrSM" missiles are a newer and more advanced generation that will replace the shorter-range "ATACMS" missiles.
A fourth informed source told "Reuters" that the Central Command, which oversees U.S. forces in the Middle East, has used nearly all the land-launched missiles it had before the war began, but it has been able to resupply ammunition from U.S. military supplies elsewhere in the world.
