أحبطت السلطات الروسية هجومًا بأكثر من 400 طائرة مسيّرة أُطلقت باتجاه العاصمة موسكو خلال الليل.
وأكد رئيس بلدية موسكو سيرغي سوبيانين، (الإثنين)، أن معظمها تم اعتراضه. وكتب على منصة «ماكس» إنه «من الساعة 8:30 مساءً (17:30 ت غ) وحتى الساعة 5:00 صباحًا، حلقت أكثر من 400 طائرة مسيرة معادية باتجاه منطقة موسكو». وقال: «تم تحييد معظمها بواسطة قوات الدفاع الجوي عند مسافات بعيدة عن المدينة، بينما دُمرت 85 طائرة مسيّرة أثناء اقترابها من موسكو». وكثّفت كييف في الأشهر الأخيرة من ضرباتها على الأراضي الروسية، واصفة إياها بأنها رد على أكثر من أربع سنوات من القصف الذي استهدف أراضيها. وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الروسية «تاس» (الإثنين)، بأن ستة أشخاص نُقلوا إلى المستشفى إثر إصابتهم في انفجار بمنطقة موسكو. ونقلت الوكالة عن تقرير لمستشفى دوموديدوفو جنوب موسكو أن إصاباتهم متفاوتة الشدة وبينهم ثلاثة مواطنين أجانب. ولم يكن واضحًا ما إذا كانت الإصابات مرتبطة بهجمات الطائرات المسيرة. وكشفت صور أقمار صناعية حديثة عن حرائق ضخمة اندلعت، (السبت)، في منشأة نفطية ومستودعات تابعة لشركة «وايلدبيريز» التجارية بمقاطعة موسكو الروسية، عقب استهداف أوكراني. وتسببت الهجمات المكثفة بالطائرات المسيّرة في شلل المرافق الحيوية بمدينتي «نوغينسك» و«إليكتروستال» المتجاورتين، مخلفة قتلى وعشرات الإصابات وسط استنفار أمني وطبي واسع. وتظهر مقارنة لصور الأقمار الصناعية الملتقطة عبر شركة «بلانت» الأمريكية يومي 17 و18 يوليو الجاري، الامتداد الكبير لسحب الدخان الكثيفة الناتجة عن احتراق مستودعات شركة «وايلدبيريز» بمدينة إليكتروستال في مقاطعة موسكو.
The Russian authorities thwarted an attack involving more than 400 drones launched towards the capital, Moscow, overnight.
Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, confirmed on Monday that most of them were intercepted. He wrote on the "Max" platform that "from 8:30 PM (17:30 GMT) until 5:00 AM, more than 400 hostile drones flew towards the Moscow region." He stated, "Most of them were neutralized by air defense forces at distances far from the city, while 85 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow." Kyiv has intensified its strikes on Russian territory in recent months, describing them as a response to over four years of shelling that targeted its lands. The Russian news agency "TASS" reported on Monday that six people were hospitalized after being injured in an explosion in the Moscow region. The agency cited a report from the Domodedovo hospital south of Moscow, stating that their injuries varied in severity and included three foreign nationals. It was unclear whether the injuries were related to the drone attacks. Recent satellite images revealed massive fires that broke out on Saturday at an oil facility and warehouses belonging to the "Wildberries" commercial company in the Moscow region, following a Ukrainian strike. The intense drone attacks caused paralysis of vital facilities in the neighboring cities of "Noginsk" and "Electrostal," resulting in fatalities and dozens of injuries amid extensive security and medical mobilization. A comparison of satellite images captured by the American company "Planet" on July 17 and 18 shows the extensive spread of thick smoke clouds resulting from the burning of the Wildberries warehouses in the city of Electrostal in the Moscow region.
