أعلن مكتب الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون أن فرنسا وسورية بدأتا عملية لإعادة 51 مليون يورو ما يعادل (58.29 مليون دولار) إلى دمشق كانت قد تمت مصادرتها من رفعت الأسد، عم الرئيس السوري المخلوع بشار الأسد.
ولفت المكتب إلى أن فرنسا ستقدم مساعدة تقنية لمصرف سورية المركزي، وفقاً لوكالة «رويترز».
وقال مكتب ماكرون إن مجموعة «سي.إم.إيه سي.جي.إم» الفرنسية للشحن أبرمت اتفاق شراكة مع سورية، خلال زيارة ماكرون إلى دمشق للقاء نظيره السوري أحمد الشرع.
وأضاف أن الاتفاق يشمل مناولة شحن جوي في مطار دمشق الدولي. وكشفت سورية في شهر مايو عن عقد مع «سي.إم.إيه سي.جي.إم» لتشغيل ميناءين جافين.
ويأتي الاتفاق مع المجموعة ضمن عدة اتفاقات مع شركات فرنسية أعلنها مكتب ماكرون.
وأعلن الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن بلاده جاهزة لدعم إعادة الإعمار في سورية، مؤكداً أنهم سيكونون شركاء للاستثمار في عدة مجالات حيوية.
وتحدث ماكرون خلال اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة بين الجانبين السوري والفرنسي في دمشق، عن وجود لجان اقتصادية موسّعة ومشتركة تعمل على دعم إعادة الإعمار في سورية بالشراكة مع دول خليجية، مؤكداً استعداد بلاده لبناء الثقة مع سورية وأنها ستكون شريكة في مجالات عدة بينها قطاعا الطاقة والمصارف، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا). وأكد ماكرون أنه رغم التحديات التي تواجه سورية، هناك فرص لبناء شراكات حقيقية معها «سنكون دائماً إلى جانب الشعب السوري».
من جانبه، أفاد الرئيس الشرع بأن سورية تتطلع إلى أن تكون فرنسا شريكاً اقتصادياً رئيسياً خلال المرحلة القادمة، مؤكداً أن من يستثمر في سورية مبكراً سيجني ثمار هذه الفرص مبكراً.
وأضاف أن الحكومة تعمل على بناء بيئة استثمارية حديثة تقوم على المؤسسات، إلى جانب تنفيذ إصلاحات مصرفية تستهدف ضمان انسيابية الأعمال وتعزيز جاذبية الاقتصاد.
وأشار الرئيس السوري إلى أن بلاده استعادت دورها الحيوي في المنطقة، مؤكداً أن المدن الصناعية السورية تستعد للتحول إلى منصات جديدة للاستثمارات العالمية، داعياً الشركات الأجنبية إلى المشاركة في مشاريع إعادة الإعمار عبر شراكات حقيقية.
وبدأ الرئيس الفرنسي ماكرون أمس (الإثنين)، مع الوفد المرافق له، زيارة رسمية إلى سورية، هي الأولى لرئيس فرنسي منذ عام 2009، تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات السورية الفرنسية القائمة على الاحترام المتبادل والشراكة المتكافئة.
The office of French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France and Syria have begun the process of returning 51 million euros, equivalent to (58.29 million dollars), to Damascus that had been seized from Rifaat al-Assad, the uncle of ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The office pointed out that France will provide technical assistance to the Central Bank of Syria, according to Reuters.
Macron's office stated that the French shipping group "CMA CGM" has signed a partnership agreement with Syria during Macron's visit to Damascus to meet with his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al-Shara.
It added that the agreement includes handling air cargo at Damascus International Airport. Syria revealed in May a contract with "CMA CGM" to operate two dry ports.
The agreement with the group is part of several agreements with French companies announced by Macron's office.

Macron confirmed that despite the challenges facing Syria, there are opportunities to build real partnerships with it, stating, "We will always stand by the Syrian people."
For his part, President al-Shara stated that Syria looks forward to France being a major economic partner in the upcoming phase, emphasizing that those who invest in Syria early will reap the benefits of these opportunities early.
He added that the government is working to build a modern investment environment based on institutions, alongside implementing banking reforms aimed at ensuring business fluidity and enhancing the attractiveness of the economy.
The Syrian president indicated that his country has regained its vital role in the region, affirming that Syrian industrial cities are preparing to transform into new platforms for global investments, calling on foreign companies to participate in reconstruction projects through real partnerships.
French President Macron began an official visit to Syria yesterday (Monday), accompanied by his delegation, marking the first visit by a French president since 2009, aimed at strengthening Syrian-French relations based on mutual respect and equitable partnership.
