في خطاب يحمل نبرة سيادية حاسمة، أكد الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون أن بلاده تدخل مرحلة جديدة عنوانها استعادة القرار الوطني، وإعادة بناء ما دمرته الحرب، مشددًا على رفض أي اتفاق ينتقص من حقوق لبنان أو يفرّط بسيادته، في وقت أشاد بالدور السعودي والأمريكي في تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار.
استعادة القرار.. «نفاوض عن أنفسنا»
أكد الرئيس اللبناني أن بلاده لم تعد «ورقة بيد أحد ولا ساحة لأحد»، مضيفًا: «نفاوض عن أنفسنا ونقرر بأنفسنا»، في إشارة إلى تحوّل في مقاربة الدولة لملفاتها السيادية بعيدًا عن التأثيرات الخارجية.
لا تنازل عن الحقوق.. ورفض لأي اتفاق مجحف
وشدد على أن «لن يكون هناك أي اتفاق يمس حقوقنا الوطنية أو يفرّط بتراب لبنان»، مؤكدًا في الوقت ذاته أن أي تفاهم مستقبلي يجب أن يحفظ سيادة الدولة ووحدة أراضيها بشكل كامل.
وقف النار.. ثمرة جهود مشتركة
وأشاد الرئيس اللبناني بالدور الدولي والإقليمي، قائلاً: «وقف النار كان ثمرة جهود الجميع»، موجّهًا شكرًا خاصًا إلى دونالد ترمب والمملكة العربية السعودية والدول العربية على مساهمتهم في تثبيت التهدئة.
إعادة الإعمار.. «سنستعيد ما دُمّر»
وفي ملف ما بعد الحرب، تعهّد الرئيس اللبناني بإعادة بناء ما تهدّم، قائلاً: «سنستعيد كل ما تم تدميره يدًا بيد»، في إشارة إلى بدء مرحلة التعافي وإعادة الإعمار.
لا للفوضى.. والسلاح بيد الدولة
وأكد رفضه لانتشار السلاح خارج إطار الدولة، قائلاً: «لن نسمح للمشككين والمخونين بزرع الفرقة»، مضيفًا: «لن أسمح بموت أي لبناني لمصلحة الآخرين»، في رسالة واضحة لضبط الداخل وتعزيز الاستقرار.
نحو مرحلة جديدة
ووصف الرئيس اللبناني وقف إطلاق النار بأنه «مقدمة لمرحلة جديدة في لبنان»، مؤكدًا السعي إلى «اتفاقات دائمة» تضمن الاستقرار، مضيفًا أن لبنان «استعاد مكانته لأول مرة منذ نحو نصف قرن».
«نحن مع الازدهار»
واختتم خطابه برسالة تفاؤل، قائلاً: «نحن مع الازدهار لا الانتحار»، مؤكدًا أن المرحلة القادمة ستقوم على البناء والاستقرار، لا الصراعات والانقسامات.
In a speech carrying a decisive sovereign tone, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun affirmed that his country is entering a new phase titled the restoration of national decision-making and the rebuilding of what the war has destroyed, emphasizing the rejection of any agreement that undermines Lebanon's rights or compromises its sovereignty, while praising the Saudi and American roles in stabilizing the ceasefire.
Restoring Decision-Making.. “We Negotiate for Ourselves”
The Lebanese president confirmed that his country is no longer “a card in anyone's hand or a playground for anyone,” adding: “We negotiate for ourselves and decide for ourselves,” in reference to a shift in the state's approach to its sovereign files away from external influences.
No Compromise on Rights.. and Rejection of Any Unjust Agreement
He stressed that “there will be no agreement that touches our national rights or compromises Lebanon's territory,” affirming at the same time that any future understanding must fully preserve the state's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Ceasefire.. A Result of Joint Efforts
The Lebanese president praised the international and regional role, saying: “The ceasefire was the result of everyone's efforts,” directing special thanks to Donald Trump, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Arab countries for their contributions to stabilizing the truce.
Reconstruction.. “We Will Restore What Was Destroyed”
Regarding the post-war situation, the Lebanese president pledged to rebuild what has been destroyed, stating: “We will restore everything that has been destroyed hand in hand,” indicating the beginning of a recovery and reconstruction phase.
No to Chaos.. and Weapons in the Hands of the State
He reiterated his rejection of the spread of weapons outside the framework of the state, saying: “We will not allow skeptics and traitors to sow discord,” adding: “I will not allow the death of any Lebanese for the benefit of others,” in a clear message to control the internal situation and enhance stability.
Towards a New Phase
The Lebanese president described the ceasefire as “an introduction to a new phase in Lebanon,” affirming the pursuit of “permanent agreements” that guarantee stability, adding that Lebanon “has regained its status for the first time in nearly half a century.”
“We Are for Prosperity”
He concluded his speech with a message of optimism, saying: “We are for prosperity, not for suicide,” emphasizing that the coming phase will be based on building and stability, not conflicts and divisions.
