أدان مجلس جامعة الدول العربية الطارئ استهداف إيران المتعمد وغير القانوني للأعيان المدنية والبنية التحتية المدنية في عدد من الدول العربية بما في ذلك المطارات والموانئ ومنشآت الطاقة وخدمات الأمن الغذائي والمواقع الخدمية والمناطق السكنية والمقرات الدبلوماسية.
ودعا وزراء الخارجية العرب خلال الاجتماع الطارئ، اليوم (الأحد)، إيران إلى احترام حرية الملاحة، وأدانوا الإجراءات الرامية لإغلاق مضيق هرمز.وأعلن دعمه كل إجراءات الدول المستهدفة لرد الاعتداءات الإيرانية.
وأضاف المجلس في قراره الصادر أن هذه الأعمال عرضت أرواح المدنيين للخطر، وأدت إلى سقوط ضحايا مدنيين وتدمير مادي، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
ودعا وزراء الخارجية العرب إيران إلى الوقف الفوري للهجمات العسكرية العدوانية على الدول العربية، وطالبوا طهران بالكف الفوري عن جميع الأعمال الاستفزازية أو التهديدات للدول المجاورة، بما في ذلك استخدام أذرعها ومليشياتها المسلحة في المنطقة.
وأكدوا على حق الدول العربية المستهدفة بالاعتداءات الإيرانية في الدفاع الشرعي عن النفس، منفردة أو جماعياً، وفقاً لما تقضي به المادة 51 من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وأشادوا بما أبدته المؤسسات الدفاعية والأمنية في الدول العربية المستهدفة من بسالة وشجاعة وجاهزية في التصدي
للصواريخ البالستية والطائرات المسيرة الإيرانية، ما أسهم في حفظ الأرواح وتقليل الخسائر المادية والبشرية.
وأكدوا على الدعم المطلق لحق الدول العربية في اللجوء إلى المؤسسات الدولية، بما في ذلك مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، والدعم كذلك لكل ما تتخذه الدول العربية المستهدفة من إجراءات أو خطوات لاستصدار قرارات دولية تدين هذه الاعتداءات السافرة، وتحميل إيران المسؤولية الكاملة عن الآثار المترتبة عليها.
ودعا وزراء الخارجية مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة إلى تحمل مسؤولياته في حفظ السلم والأمن الإقليمي والدولي وإصدار قرار ملزم يدين الهجمات الإيرانية على الدول العربية، ويجبر إيران على وقف اعتداءاتها فوراً دون شروط، وتحميلها مسؤولية هذه الاعتداءات غير القانونية، وفقاً لمقتضيات ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وأكد وزراء الخارجية العرب في اجتماعهم الطارئ حق الدول العربية المستهدفة بالاعتداءات الإيرانية في الدفاع الشرعي عن النفس، منفردة أو جماعياً، وفقاً لما تقضي به المادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
The Arab League's emergency council condemned Iran's deliberate and illegal targeting of civilian objects and civilian infrastructure in several Arab countries, including airports, ports, energy facilities, food security services, service sites, residential areas, and diplomatic missions.
During the emergency meeting today (Sunday), Arab foreign ministers called on Iran to respect freedom of navigation and condemned actions aimed at closing the Strait of Hormuz. They announced their support for all measures taken by the targeted countries to respond to Iranian aggressions.
The council added in its issued decision that these actions endangered the lives of civilians, resulted in civilian casualties and material destruction, in a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Arab foreign ministers called on Iran to immediately cease its aggressive military attacks on Arab countries and demanded that Tehran refrain from all provocative actions or threats against neighboring countries, including the use of its proxies and armed militias in the region.
They emphasized the right of the Arab countries targeted by Iranian aggressions to legitimate self-defense, individually or collectively, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and praised the bravery, courage, and readiness demonstrated by the defense and security institutions in the targeted Arab countries in confronting
Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, which contributed to saving lives and reducing material and human losses.
They affirmed their absolute support for the right of Arab countries to resort to international institutions, including the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly, and also supported any measures or steps taken by the targeted Arab countries to issue international resolutions condemning these blatant aggressions and holding Iran fully accountable for the consequences.
The foreign ministers called on the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities in maintaining regional and international peace and security and to issue a binding resolution condemning Iranian attacks on Arab countries, compelling Iran to immediately cease its aggressions unconditionally, and holding it accountable for these illegal aggressions, in accordance with the provisions of the United Nations Charter and international law and international humanitarian law.
The Arab foreign ministers, in their emergency meeting, reaffirmed the right of the Arab countries targeted by Iranian aggressions to legitimate self-defense, individually or collectively, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
