أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي أن بلاده “ستستخدم كافة قدراتها الدفاعية والعسكرية للدفاع عن الشعب الإيراني، انطلاقا من حقه الأصيل في الدفاع عن النفس”، وذلك في أعقاب اندلاع الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية على إيران، السبت.
اتصالات مكثفة مع وزراء خارجية الخليج
وأفاد التلفزيون الرسمي الإيراني بأن عراقجي أجرى سلسلة مكالمات هاتفية مع نظرائه في السعودية والإمارات وقطر والكويت والبحرين والعراق، أطلعهم خلالها على “آخر المستجدات الميدانية والسياسية”.
وأكد الوزير الإيراني خلال الاتصالات تمسك بلاده بسياسة حسن الجوار والصداقة مع دول المنطقة، داعيا دول الخليج إلى منع الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل من استغلال منشآتها أو أراضيها لتنفيذ عمليات عسكرية ضد إيران.
وأوضح عراقجي أن الحرب، بحسب تعبيره، “ليست موجهة ضد الشعب الإيراني فحسب، بل ضد جميع دول المنطقة”.
بقائي: العدوان إعلان حرب
في السياق ذاته، قال المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي إن بلاده “ستدافع عن نفسها بكل الإمكانيات”، واصفا ما تتعرض له إيران بأنه “مخالف للقوانين الدولية ويعتبر إعلان حرب”.
وأضاف: “للمرة الثانية تتعرض سيادتنا الوطنية وأراضينا لهجوم من قبل أمريكا وإسرائيل”، مؤكدا أن طهران تواصلت مع مجلس الأمن الدولي لإدانة ما وصفه بالعدوان والعمل على وقف الحرب.
وكشف بقائي عن “مقتل 24 طفلا في محافظة هرمزكان”، منتقدا تصريحات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، بقوله إن الأخير “يدعي مساعدة الشعب الإيراني” في وقت تتعرض فيه البلاد للهجمات.
تصعيد مفتوح على كل الاحتمالات
وتأتي هذه التصريحات في ظل تصعيد غير مسبوق ينذر باتساع رقعة المواجهة، وسط تحركات دبلوماسية مكثفة ومساعٍ دولية لاحتواء الموقف، بينما تؤكد طهران تمسكها بخيار الرد ضمن ما تعتبره إطارا قانونيا للدفاع عن سيادتها
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that his country "will use all its defensive and military capabilities to defend the Iranian people, based on their inherent right to self-defense," following the outbreak of the American-Israeli war on Iran on Saturday.
Intensive Communications with Gulf Foreign Ministers
The Iranian state television reported that Araghchi conducted a series of phone calls with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq, during which he briefed them on the "latest developments on the ground and politically."
The Iranian minister emphasized during the communications that his country adheres to a policy of good neighborliness and friendship with the countries in the region, calling on the Gulf states to prevent the United States and Israel from using their facilities or territories to carry out military operations against Iran.
Araghchi clarified that the war, as he put it, "is not directed solely against the Iranian people, but against all the countries in the region."
Baqai: The Aggression is a Declaration of War
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqai stated that his country "will defend itself by all means," describing what Iran is facing as "contrary to international laws and considered a declaration of war."
He added: "For the second time, our national sovereignty and territories are under attack by the U.S. and Israel," stressing that Tehran has reached out to the United Nations Security Council to condemn what he described as aggression and to work on stopping the war.
Baqai revealed that "24 children have been killed in Hormozgan province," criticizing U.S. President Donald Trump's statements, saying that the latter "claims to help the Iranian people" at a time when the country is under attack.
Open Escalation with All Possibilities
These statements come amid unprecedented escalation that threatens to widen the confrontation, alongside intensive diplomatic movements and international efforts to contain the situation, while Tehran reaffirms its commitment to respond within what it considers a legal framework to defend its sovereignty.
