نيابة عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد بن عبدالكريم الخريجي اليوم في الاجتماع الاستثنائي للجنة التنفيذية مفتوحة العضوية على مستوى وزراء خارجية الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي لبحث قرارات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، المنعقد في جدة.
وفي بداية كلمته قدم الخريجي شكره لدولة فلسطين على دعوتها لعقد هذا الاجتماع الاستثنائي. وقال: «نجتمع اليوم في ظل قناعتنا المشتركة بأن سياسات سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وممارساتها تشكل أكبر تهديد للأمن والسلم، وعزمنا على مواجهة هذا التهديد عبر تنسيق مواقفنا وتطوير آليات التعاون في ما بيننا وتعزيز عملنا الإسلامي المشترك».
وأضاف الخريجي: «يستمر العدوان الإسرائيلي غير المسبوق على الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة في انتهاكٍ صارخٍ للقوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية، عبر إجراءات غير قانونية تستهدف تعزيز الاستيطان والضم ومحاولة فرض السيادة الإسرائيلية المزعومة على الضفة الغربية المحتلة، بما يُقوّض فرص السلام ويخالف قرارات الشرعية الدولية».
وجدد الخريجي تأكيد المملكة إدانتها لقرار سلطات الاحتلال تحويل أراضي الضفة الغربية إلى ما تسميه «أملاك دولة»، ولقرارات الكنيست الإسرائيلي الداعية لتسريع الاستيطان، والسماح بشراء الأراضي في الضفة الغربية، ضمن مخططات تهدف إلى فرض واقع قانوني وإداري جديد وتقويض الجهود الرامية لتحقيق السلام والاستقرار. مضيفًا: «تجدد المملكة تأكيدها أنه لا سيادة لإسرائيل على الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، ورفضها المطلق لهذه الخطط وكافة الإجراءات غير القانونية التي تُشكّل خرقًا للقانون الدولي ولقرارات مجلس الأمن، وعلى وجه الخصوص القرار 2334، كما تدين الأنشطة الاستيطانية الرامية إلى تغيير التكوين الديموغرافي والوضع القانوني للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة منذ عام 1967م، بما فيها القدس الشرقية».
كما جدّد تأكيد المملكة على دور التحالف العالمي لتنفيذ حلّ الدولتين في توحيد الجهود الدولية وحشد الدعم السياسي والاقتصادي ودفع المسارات التنفيذية ذات الصلة، بما يعزز ترجمة الالتزامات إلى خطوات عملية ويسهم في تسريع تنفيذ حلّ الدولتين، والتزامها بمواصلة هذا المسار مع الشركاء من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة لتحقيق سلام عادل وشامل يلبي تطلعات الشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير مصيره وإقامة دولته المستقلة وفق مبادرة السلام العربية.
وأضاف: «كما تؤكّد المملكة أن إعلان نيويورك وخطة السلام الشاملة وقرار مجلس الأمن 2803 تشكل إطارًا متكاملًا ومتوافقًا في أهدافه، مع التشديد على ضرورة دعم السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية وبناء قدراتها المؤسسية، وضمان الارتباط المؤسسي والجغرافي بين غزة والضفة الغربية بما يحفظ وحدة الأرض الفلسطينية، مع التشديد على صون حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني غير القابلة للتصرف وفي مقدمتها حق تقرير المصير وحق العودة، كما تجدد دعوتها العاجلة لإدخال المساعدات الإغاثية والإنسانية بالتعاون الكامل مع الآليات الدولية».
وجدد الخريجي في كلمته إشادة المملكة بالجهود التي يقودها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في هذا الصدد، مؤكدًا أن التنسيق مع الولايات المتحدة لتنفيذ خطة السلام الشاملة يشكّل فرصة حقيقية لإنهاء الصراع والانتقال إلى مرحلة الاندماج الإقليمي والاستقرار المستدام.
وفي ختام كلمته شدد الخريجي على أنه انطلاقًا من حرص المملكة على الاستقرار والسلام؛ فإنها تؤكد على إدانة واستنكار أي انتهاك لسيادة أي دولة عضو في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، وتُعرب عن قلقها إزاء تصاعد التوترات العسكرية وتنامي الخطاب العدائي، داعيةً إلى ضبط النفس والتهدئة وتجنب التصعيد وحلّ الخلافات بالوسائل الدبلوماسية.
كما تُشدد على أن تحقيق السلام والأمن المستدامين لا يكون إلا عبر الحوار والدبلوماسية والاحترام المتبادل، وعدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول، والتسوية السلمية للنزاعات.
On behalf of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Deputy Foreign Minister Engineer Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khreeji participated today in the extraordinary meeting of the Open-Ended Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the decisions of the Israeli occupation, held in Jeddah.
At the beginning of his speech, Al-Khreeji expressed his gratitude to the State of Palestine for inviting to hold this extraordinary meeting. He said: “We gather today under our shared conviction that the policies and practices of the Israeli occupation authorities represent the greatest threat to security and peace, and our determination to confront this threat by coordinating our positions, developing mechanisms for cooperation among us, and enhancing our joint Islamic work.”
Al-Khreeji added: “The unprecedented Israeli aggression against the occupied Palestinian territories continues in a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws, through illegal measures aimed at enhancing settlement and annexation and attempting to impose the alleged Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, which undermines the prospects for peace and contradicts the decisions of international legitimacy.”
Al-Khreeji reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation of the decision of the occupation authorities to convert the lands of the West Bank into what they call “state property,” and of the decisions of the Israeli Knesset calling for the acceleration of settlement, and allowing the purchase of land in the West Bank, as part of plans aimed at imposing a new legal and administrative reality and undermining efforts to achieve peace and stability. He added: “The Kingdom reaffirms that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian land, and its absolute rejection of these plans and all illegal measures that constitute a violation of international law and Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, as well as condemning settlement activities aimed at changing the demographic composition and legal status of the Palestinian land occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem.”
He also renewed the Kingdom's affirmation of the role of the global coalition to implement the two-state solution in unifying international efforts, mobilizing political and economic support, and advancing relevant implementation pathways, which enhances the translation of commitments into practical steps and contributes to accelerating the implementation of the two-state solution, and its commitment to continue this path with partners from brotherly and friendly countries to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people for self-determination and the establishment of their independent state in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative.
He added: “The Kingdom also affirms that the New York Declaration, the comprehensive peace plan, and Security Council Resolution 2803 constitute a comprehensive and compatible framework in its objectives, emphasizing the necessity of supporting the Palestinian National Authority and building its institutional capacities, and ensuring the institutional and geographical link between Gaza and the West Bank to preserve the unity of the Palestinian land, while emphasizing the safeguarding of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to self-determination and the right of return, and it renews its urgent call for the entry of relief and humanitarian assistance in full cooperation with international mechanisms.”
In his speech, Al-Khreeji renewed the Kingdom's appreciation for the efforts led by U.S. President Donald Trump in this regard, emphasizing that coordination with the United States to implement the comprehensive peace plan represents a real opportunity to end the conflict and transition to a phase of regional integration and sustainable stability.
In conclusion, Al-Khreeji stressed that, based on the Kingdom's keenness on stability and peace, it condemns and denounces any violation of the sovereignty of any member state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and expresses its concern over the escalation of military tensions and the rise of hostile rhetoric, calling for restraint, de-escalation, and resolving disputes through diplomatic means.
It also emphasizes that achieving sustainable peace and security can only be through dialogue, diplomacy, mutual respect, non-interference in the internal affairs of states, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
