لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الثلاثاء) بإجراءات صارمة ضد طهران في حال عدم التوصل لاتفاق، مؤكداً قبيل لقائه رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، أن الولايات المتحدة لن تسمح لإيران بامتلاك سلاح نووي أو صواريخ بالستية.
ونقلت «القناة 12» الإسرائيلية عن ترمب قوله إن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو يسعى لاتفاق جيد مع إيران، وإن طهران ترغب بشدة في التوصل لاتفاق، موضحاً أن الولايات المتحدة تدرس إرسال حاملة طائرات وقوات إضافية إلى الشرق الأوسط.
وكان مصدر إسرائيلي قد قال لشبكة «سي إن إن» إن إسرائيل تعد خطط طوارئ في حال فشل المفاوضات مع إيران، مبيناً أن إسرائيل تتمسك بحرية العمل العسكري ضد إيران.
وأشار إلى أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو سيقدم لترمب معلومات جديدة عن قدرات إيران العسكرية.
ومن المقرر أن يتوجه نتنياهو إلى واشنطن، اليوم للبحث مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب توسيع نطاق المحادثات النووية.
وحذر أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني علي لاريجاني الولايات المتحدة من الدور التخريبي الإسرائيلي في مسار المفاوضات النووية.
واستؤنفت المفاوضات الأسبوع الماضي، في ظل تحركات عسكرية أمريكية متزايدة في المنطقة.

Israeli Channel 12 reported Trump as saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking a good deal with Iran, and that Tehran is very eager to reach an agreement, explaining that the United States is considering sending an aircraft carrier and additional troops to the Middle East.
An Israeli source told CNN that Israel is preparing contingency plans in case negotiations with Iran fail, indicating that Israel insists on the freedom to conduct military operations against Iran.
He noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will present Trump with new information about Iran's military capabilities.
Netanyahu is scheduled to head to Washington today to discuss with U.S. President Donald Trump the expansion of nuclear talks.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani warned the United States about the Israeli destructive role in the nuclear negotiation process.
The negotiations resumed last week amid increasing U.S. military movements in the region.
