في إطار الدور الريادي للمملكة العربية السعودية في تعزيز الاستقرار وتحسين سبل العيش في المحافظات اليمنية، شهدت محافظة أرخبيل سقطرى وصول أولى دفعات خزانات الغاز المسال «الغاز المنزلي»، ضمن مشاريع البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، التي تستهدف تلبية الاحتياجات الحيوية وتطوير البنية التحتية للخدمات الأساسية.
دعم إستراتيجي وتأمين للخدمات
وتأتي هذه الدفعة، التي تبلغ سعتها الإجمالية 380 ألف لتر، كجزء من إستراتيجية متكاملة يتبناها البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن لتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية وتحسين جودة الحياة اليومية لسكان الأرخبيل.
ويهدف المشروع إلى كسر حدة الأزمات المعيشية وتوفير الخدمات الحيوية بشكل مستدام، بما يضمن تعزيز الاستقرار الاقتصادي والخدمي في سقطرى.
امتنان شعبي لـ«مملكة الإنسانية»
وفي حديث خاص لـ«عكاظ»، رفع أهالي سقطرى أسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير للمملكة العربية السعودية وقيادتها الحكيمة، مؤكدين أن وصول هذه الدفعات يمثل شريان حياة جديداً في المحافظة.
وأشاروا إلى أن المواقف السعودية «السخية والمتواصلة» في المجالات التنموية والخدمية كافة، تثبت يوماً بعد يوم أن المملكة هي السند المتين والداعم الأول لاستقرار اليمن وازدهاره.

This batch, with a total capacity of 380,000 liters, comes as part of a comprehensive strategy adopted by the Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen to meet basic needs and improve the daily quality of life for the residents of the archipelago.
The project aims to alleviate the severity of living crises and provide vital services sustainably, ensuring the enhancement of economic and service stability in Socotra.

In a special interview with "Okaz," the people of Socotra expressed their highest gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its wise leadership, confirming that the arrival of these batches represents a new lifeline in the governorate.
They pointed out that the Saudi positions, characterized by their "generosity and continuity" in all developmental and service fields, prove day after day that the Kingdom is the solid support and the primary backer of Yemen's stability and prosperity.
