نفذ مشروع «مسام» لنزع الألغام في اليمن، عملية الإتلاف الثالثة في مدينة المكلا في محافظة حضرموت، التي شملت 1,531 قطعة من الألغام والمخلفات الحربية.
وأفاد المركز الإعلامي للمشروع، بأن عملية الإتلاف نفذت من قبل فرق الطوارئ التابعة لـ «مسام» والمركز التنفيذي للتعامل مع الألغام فرع المكلا.
وقال المركز في بيان، اليوم (الخميس): إن هذه العملية تأتي في إطار عمليات المشروع المتواصلة في المكلا؛ بهدف تطهيرها من الألغام والمخلفات الحربية بكافة أنواعها لضمان سلامة سكان المدينة وتوفير أقصى درجات الأمان في كافة الأعيان المدنية والطرق المؤدية إليها.
وشملت قائمة المواد التي تم إتلافها: 10 ألغام مضادة للدروع، 6 ألغام مضادة للأفراد، 4 صواريخ موجهة (N72)، 23 قذيفة هاون (عيار 82)، 183 قذيفة (عيار 37)، 150 قذيفة (عيار 23)، 15 قنبلة يدوية، 720 طلقة (عيار 12,7)، 420 طلقة (عيار 14,7).
ووفق البيان، فقد ارتفعت كمية ما تم إتلافه من قبل فرق المشروع في المكلا منذ السبت 17 يناير الجاري إلى 7,921 قطعة من الألغام والعبوات الناسفة والذخائر غير المنفجرة.
The "Masam" project for mine clearance in Yemen carried out the third destruction operation in the city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate, which included 1,531 pieces of mines and war remnants.
The media center of the project reported that the destruction operation was carried out by the emergency teams of "Masam" and the Executive Center for Mine Action in Mukalla.
The center stated in a statement today (Thursday) that this operation comes as part of the ongoing project operations in Mukalla, aimed at clearing it of mines and war remnants of all kinds to ensure the safety of the city's residents and provide the highest levels of security in all civilian sites and the roads leading to them.
The list of materials that were destroyed included: 10 anti-tank mines, 6 anti-personnel mines, 4 guided missiles (N72), 23 mortar shells (caliber 82), 183 shells (caliber 37), 150 shells (caliber 23), 15 hand grenades, 720 rounds (caliber 12.7), and 420 rounds (caliber 14.7).
According to the statement, the quantity destroyed by the project teams in Mukalla since Saturday, January 17, has risen to 7,921 pieces of mines, explosive devices, and unexploded ordnance.
