وقالت رودريغيز خلال مراسم تكريمية للضحايا الذين قتلوا خلال الهجوم الأمريكي على كاراكاس: «نحن لسنا تابعين ولا خاضعين»، مشددة على الولاء للرئيس نيكولاس مادورو.
وأضافت ديلسي رودريغيز: لم يستسلم أحد. هنا، كان هناك قتال من أجل هذا الوطن.
وكانت وزارة الداخلية الفنزويلية أقرت سابقاً، بإصابة الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو وزوجته سيليا فلوريس خلال الهجوم الأمريكي، ووقوع عشرات الضحايا، بينهم مدنيون.
The interim Venezuelan president, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed that her country is not subject to the United States, following Washington's ousting of her predecessor Nicolás Maduro on January 3.
Rodríguez stated during a memorial ceremony for the victims who were killed during the American attack on Caracas: "We are neither subordinate nor submissive," emphasizing loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro.
Delcy Rodríguez added: No one has surrendered. Here, there has been a fight for this homeland.
The Venezuelan Ministry of Interior had previously acknowledged that President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were injured during the American attack, resulting in dozens of casualties, including civilians.
