كرّم محافظ وادي الدواسر فهد بن عبدالله المسعود، مساء أمس الأول (الأحد)، المشاركين من القادة الكشفيين والفتية والشباب الذين أسهموا في أعمال معسكرات الخدمة العامة التي نظمتها جمعية الكشافة العربية السعودية في مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة خلال موسم حج هذا العام؛ لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن.
وتضمن الحفل الذي أقامته لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية الأهلية بالشرافاء، كلمات للمشاركين من القادة الكشفيين، أكدوا خلالها أن ما قدموه من جهود يأتي امتداداً للدور الذي تضطلع به مختلف القطاعات الحكومية والأهلية والتطوعية في خدمة حجاج بيت الله الحرام، وتجسيداً لرسالة الكشافة في العمل التطوعي وخدمة المجتمع.
وشاهد الحضور عرضاً مرئياً استعرض أبرز الجهود والمبادرات التي نفذتها الوحدات الكشفية التابعة للجنة خلال موسم الحج، وما قدمه المشاركون من خدمات إرشادية وإنسانية وتنظيمية أسهمت في خدمة الحجاج ودعم أعمال الجهات ذات العلاقة.
The Governor of Wadi Al-Dawasir, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Masoud, honored the participants from the scouting leaders, youth, and young men who contributed to the public service camps organized by the Saudi Arabian Scout Association in Mecca and the holy sites during this year's Hajj season; serving the guests of Allah.
The ceremony, held by the Social Development Committee in Al-Sharafaa, included speeches from the participating scouting leaders, who emphasized that their efforts are an extension of the role played by various governmental, private, and volunteer sectors in serving the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, and a manifestation of the scouting message in volunteer work and community service.
The attendees watched a visual presentation showcasing the key efforts and initiatives implemented by the scouting units affiliated with the committee during the Hajj season, as well as the services provided by the participants in guidance, humanitarian, and organizational support that contributed to serving the pilgrims and supporting the work of related entities.
