تزامناً مع الاحتفاء بيوم التأسيس في 22 فبراير، انطلقت مساء أمس (الأحد) فعاليات مهرجان «أهلاً رمضان بالوجه زمان» في نسخته السادسة، الذي تنظمه بلدية محافظة الوجه في السوق الشعبي بحي البلد، بحضور محافظ الوجه محمد بن سلطان السبيعي، ورئيس بلدية المحافظة المهندس بدر العطوي، وعدد من المسؤولين ومديري الإدارات الحكومية، وجمعٍ غفير من الأهالي والزوار.
وشهدت الفعاليات أجواءً رمضانية نابضة بالحياة أعادت للأذهان ملامح رمضان في زمن الطيبين، من خلال الأركان التراثية والحرف اليدوية والمأكولات الشعبية والعروض الفلكلورية التي جسدت الموروث الثقافي والاجتماعي للمحافظة. كما تضمن المهرجان برامج ومسابقات تفاعلية موجهة للعائلات والأطفال، أسهمت في تعزيز روح الألفة والتلاقي بين أفراد المجتمع.
Coinciding with the celebration of Foundation Day on February 22, the events of the "Welcome Ramadan in Al-Wajh Time" festival kicked off yesterday evening (Sunday) in its sixth edition, organized by the Al-Wajh Municipality at the popular market in the Al-Balad neighborhood, with the presence of Al-Wajh Governor Mohammed bin Sultan Al-Subaie, the municipality's chief engineer Badr Al-Attawi, a number of officials and directors of government departments, and a large gathering of residents and visitors.
The events witnessed a vibrant Ramadan atmosphere that brought to mind the features of Ramadan in the time of the good people, through heritage corners, handicrafts, traditional foods, and folklore performances that embodied the cultural and social heritage of the province. The festival also included interactive programs and competitions aimed at families and children, contributing to enhancing the spirit of camaraderie and connection among community members.
