كرّم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه اليوم (الأربعاء)، مدير مكافحة المخدرات بالمنطقة الشرقية العميد فيصل بن مقعد العتيبي، وعدداً من الضباط والأفراد من منسوبي المديرية؛ نظير ما حققوه من جهود متميزة وإنجازات نوعية في التصدي لآفة المخدرات خلال الفترة الماضية.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بما تبذله الدولة من جهود متواصلة في مكافحة المخدرات، عبر دعم الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة وتمكينها من أداء دورها الحيوي في حماية المجتمع، من خلال توفير الإمكانات والتقنيات الحديثة، وتكثيف البرامج التوعوية والتدريبية المتخصصة.
وأكد أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن النجاحات التي يحققها رجال مكافحة المخدرات تعكس الكفاءة العالية والتفاني في أداء الواجب، مثمناً هذه الجهود التي تهدف إلى حماية أبناء الوطن من هذه الآفة الخطيرة، وتعزيز أمن المجتمع وسلامته.

The Emir of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, honored today (Wednesday) in his office the Director of Drug Control in the Eastern Province, Brigadier Faisal bin Maq'ad Al-Otaibi, along with a number of officers and personnel from the directorate, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and significant achievements in combating the drug epidemic during the past period.
The Emir of the Eastern Province praised the continuous efforts made by the state in combating drugs, through supporting the relevant security agencies and enabling them to perform their vital role in protecting the community, by providing modern capabilities and technologies, and intensifying specialized awareness and training programs.
The Emir of the Eastern Province affirmed that the successes achieved by the drug control personnel reflect their high efficiency and dedication in performing their duties, appreciating these efforts aimed at protecting the nation's youth from this dangerous epidemic and enhancing the security and safety of the community.
