ألقت السلطات الألمانية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، القبض على قيادي في مليشيا نظام الرئيس السوري السابق بشار الأسد، وذلك بعد أن أمر الادعاء العام بالقبض عليه.
وألقت عناصر من المكتب الاتحادي للتحقيقات الجنائية القبض على المتهم في العاصمة برلين، بمساندة شرطة المدينة، ومن المقرر نقله، (الأربعاء)، إلى كارلسروه لعرضه على قاضي التحقيق في المحكمة الاتحادية العليا، الذي سيبت في مسألة حبسه احتياطياً.
تعذيب المتظاهرين السوريين
وأوضح الادعاء العام أن الرجل يعتقد أنه قام في عام 2011 بالاعتداء بالضرب المبرح على المتظاهرين في مدينة حلب شمال سورية، موضحاً أنه وجه له تهم ارتكاب جرائم ضد الإنسانية على شكل تعذيب وقتل وحرمان من الحرية.
وأشارت التحقيقات إلى أنه يُشتبه بأن المتهم وأفراد المليشيا التابعة له قاموا في ثماني مناسبات مختلفة، عقب صلاة الجمعة، بالاعتداء بشكل وحشي على مدنيين مستخدمين العصي المعدنية والأنابيب الحديدية وأدوات مشابهة، في محاولة لتفريق المظاهرات أو منعها، كما تم استخدام أجهزة صعق كهربائي، مبيناً أن إحدى هذه الحالات التي وقعت أمام مسجد، تسبب أفراد الميليشيا في إحداث إصابات بالغة لأحد المتظاهرين أدت إلى وفاته بعد وقت قصير.
معاملة قاسية وإهانات
ولفت الادعاء إلى أن المتهمين قاموا بتسليم بعض المتظاهرين إلى الشرطة أو أجهزة الاستخبارات، وتعرض الضحايا هناك أيضاً لسوء معاملة قاسية وإهانات.

Elements of the Federal Criminal Police Office apprehended the suspect in the capital Berlin, with the assistance of the city's police, and he is scheduled to be transferred on Wednesday to Karlsruhe to be presented before an investigating judge at the Federal Court, who will decide on the matter of his pre-trial detention.
Torture of Syrian Protesters
The public prosecutor clarified that the man is believed to have violently assaulted protesters in the city of Aleppo in northern Syria in 2011, stating that he has been charged with committing crimes against humanity in the form of torture, murder, and deprivation of liberty.
Investigations indicated that the suspect and members of his militia are suspected of having brutally attacked civilians on eight different occasions after Friday prayers, using metal rods, iron pipes, and similar tools in an attempt to disperse or prevent demonstrations. Electric shock devices were also used, with one of these incidents occurring in front of a mosque, where militia members caused severe injuries to one of the protesters, leading to his death shortly thereafter.
Harsh Treatment and Insults
The prosecutor pointed out that the accused handed over some protesters to the police or intelligence services, where the victims also faced harsh mistreatment and insults.
