أكد الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون اليوم (الخميس) أن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على مدن وقرى الجنوب مستمرة، وتستهدف سكاناً آمنين ومنازل ومنشآت مدنية، ما يتسبب يومياً في سقوط قتلى وجرحى.
وندد رئيس الوزراء اللبناني نواف سلام بالهجمات الإسرائيلية المتواصلة على لبنان، وكتب على حسابه في منصة «إكس»: «الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتمادية على لبنان تشكل انتهاكاً صارخاً لإعلان وقف العمليات العدائية، وللقرار 1701، ولمبادئ القانون الدولي وأحكامه، مضيفاً أن مصداقية المجتمع الدولي على المحك، وعلينا التحرك الفوري لإلزام إسرائيل بوقف هذه الاعتداءات واحترام سيادة لبنان وسلامة أبنائه».
وكانت الوكالة الوطنية اللبنانية للإعلام ذكرت اليوم أن ثلاثة لبنانيين قُتلوا في غارات متفرقة، فيما توغلت قوة إسرائيلية في سفح جبل الباط ونسفت منزلاً يبعد مئات الأمتار عن موقع جل الدير. كما نفذت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عمليات تمشيط من موقع رويسات العلم باتجاه كفرشوبا، وسط تحليق كثيف للطائرات المسيّرة الاستطلاعية فوق الضاحية الجنوبية وبعض القرى الجنوبية، ولا تزال تحتل خمس تلال في الجنوب، في مخالفة واضحة للاتفاق.
من جهة أخرى، دان الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون الاعتداء الإسرائيلي على القوات الدولية قرب بلدة مروحين، وذلك في اتصال هاتفي مع قائد «اليونيفيل»، بحسب بيان الرئاسة اللبنانية، التي أكدت أن الرئيس اتهم إسرائيل بمواصلة تحدي إرادة المجتمع الدولي الذي دعا قبل أيام إلى وقف الأعمال العدائية ضد لبنان.
وكانت قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان (يونيفيل) قد اتهمت أمس الطائرات الإسرائيلية المسيّرة بإسقاط أربع قنابل يدوية بالقرب من قوات حفظ السلام (الثلاثاء)، أثناء عملها على إزالة الحواجز التي تعيق الوصول إلى موقع تابع للأمم المتحدة قرب الخط الأزرق.
The Lebanese President Joseph Aoun confirmed today (Thursday) that Israeli attacks on cities and villages in the south are ongoing, targeting peaceful residents, homes, and civilian facilities, resulting in daily casualties and injuries.
The Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the continuous Israeli attacks on Lebanon, writing on his account on the platform "X": "The persistent Israeli assaults on Lebanon constitute a blatant violation of the declaration to cease hostilities, of Resolution 1701, and of the principles and provisions of international law. He added that the credibility of the international community is at stake, and we must take immediate action to compel Israel to stop these assaults and respect Lebanon's sovereignty and the safety of its citizens."
The Lebanese National News Agency reported today that three Lebanese were killed in scattered airstrikes, while an Israeli force infiltrated the foothills of Mount Ba't and blew up a house located hundreds of meters from the Jall al-Dar site. Israeli occupation forces also conducted search operations from the site of Rweisat al-Alam towards Kfarshouba, amid heavy flying of reconnaissance drones over the southern suburbs and some southern villages. They still occupy five hills in the south, in clear violation of the agreement.
On another note, President Joseph Aoun condemned the Israeli attack on international forces near the town of Marwahin, during a phone call with the commander of "UNIFIL," according to a statement from the Lebanese presidency, which confirmed that the president accused Israel of continuing to challenge the will of the international community, which called a few days ago for a cessation of hostilities against Lebanon.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) had accused Israeli drones yesterday of dropping four hand grenades near peacekeeping forces (on Tuesday), while they were working to remove barriers obstructing access to a UN site near the Blue Line.
