أعلنت وسائل إعلام إيرانية، اليوم (السبت)، عن إحباط مخطط لاستهداف مركز حيوي في محافظة سيستان وبلوشستان شرقي البلاد، متهمة جهاز الاستخبارات الإسرائيلي (الموساد) بالوقوف خلف العملية.
وذكرت وكالة مهر الإيرانية للأنباء أن «الفريق المنفذ للمخطط تم تدميره بالكامل»، مشيرة إلى أن «الخلية كانت مكوّنة من 7 مسلحين غير إيرانيين، وقد تسللت إلى البلاد عبر الحدود الشرقية خلال الأيام الماضية بهدف تنفيذ عملية خطيرة».
وأضافت الوكالة أن «قوات الأمن صادرت أسلحة كانت بحوزة أفراد الخلية، من بينها قاذفات RPG-7، وقنابل، وسترات ناسفة، وأجهزة اتصال، وأسلحة رشاشة»، لافتة إلى أن الاشتباكات مع المجموعة المسلحة استمرت لساعات، وأسفرت عن مقتل 6 من عناصر الخلية، وإلقاء القبض على اثنين آخرين، فيما أُصيب اثنان من أفراد المديرية العامة للمخابرات في المحافظة.
وفي سياق منفصل، بحث وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، ونظيره الروسي سيرغي لافروف، في اتصال هاتفي، اليوم، تطورات الملف النووي الإيراني والتعاون مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، بالإضافة إلى تحركات الدول الأوروبية الثلاث لإعادة فرض العقوبات على طهران عبر تفعيل «آلية الزناد».
وأفادت وكالة مهر أن الجانبين تبادلا وجهات النظر بشأن «الانتهاكات الأوروبية للاتفاق النووي لعام 2015»، معتبرين أن «بريطانيا وفرنسا وألمانيا، نتيجة تقصيرها في الالتزام بتعهداتها وتعاونها مع الولايات المتحدة في استهداف المنشآت النووية السلمية الإيرانية، قد انتهكت القرار 2231 بشكل صارخ، وتفتقر بالتالي إلى الأهلية القانونية والأخلاقية لتفعيل آلية تسوية النزاعات».
وشدد الوزيران على أهمية إنهاء العمل بالقرار 2231 في موعده المحدد، دون تأخير أو تلاعب.
ويُشار إلى أن «الترويكا الأوروبية» كانت قد هددت مؤخراً بإعادة فرض العقوبات الدولية على إيران، بموجب ما يُعرف بـ«آلية سناب باك» المنصوص عليها ضمن بنود الاتفاق النووي الموقع عام 2015.
Iranian media announced today (Saturday) the thwarting of a plot to target a vital center in Sistan and Baluchestan province in eastern Iran, accusing the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad) of being behind the operation.
The Mehr News Agency reported that "the team executing the plot has been completely destroyed," noting that "the cell consisted of 7 non-Iranian militants who infiltrated the country through the eastern border in recent days with the aim of carrying out a dangerous operation."
The agency added that "security forces seized weapons in the possession of the cell members, including RPG-7 launchers, grenades, explosive vests, communication devices, and automatic weapons," pointing out that clashes with the armed group lasted for hours, resulting in the death of 6 cell members and the arrest of two others, while two members of the provincial intelligence directorate were injured.
In a separate context, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov discussed over the phone today the developments regarding the Iranian nuclear file and cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, in addition to the actions of the three European countries to reimpose sanctions on Tehran by activating the "snapback mechanism."
Mehr News Agency reported that the two sides exchanged views on "the European violations of the 2015 nuclear agreement," considering that "Britain, France, and Germany, due to their failure to adhere to their commitments and their cooperation with the United States in targeting Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, have blatantly violated Resolution 2231, and thus lack the legal and moral eligibility to activate the dispute resolution mechanism."
The two ministers emphasized the importance of concluding the work on Resolution 2231 on time, without delay or manipulation.
It is noteworthy that the "European troika" recently threatened to reimpose international sanctions on Iran under what is known as the "snapback mechanism" stipulated in the terms of the nuclear agreement signed in 2015.
