أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أنه سيلتقي نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين يوم 15 أغسطس الجاري في ولاية آلاسكا، حيث يأمل المساعدة في التوسط لإنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا.
ويؤكد هذا الإعلان ما نقله الكرملين أمس بأن الرئيسين سيلتقيان الأسبوع القادم لبحث سبل التوصل لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في أوكرانيا، دون أن يحدد مكان اللقاء.
وقال الكرملين إنه وجه دعوة للرئيس الأمريكي لزيارة روسيا بعد قمة آلاسكا، مؤكداً أن لقاء بوتين وترمب في آلاسكا منطقي للغاية.
