أعلنت الرئاسة السورية اليوم (الخميس) عقد الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع اجتماعاً مع وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان بالعاصمة دمشق.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا) عن الرئاسة التركية قولها إن الجانبين بحثا خلال اللقاء التطورات الإقليمية والعالمية، وسبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، موضحة أن اللقاء جرى بحضور وزير الخارجية والمغتربين السوري أسعد حسن الشيباني.
ونقلت وكالة الأناضول التركية الحكومية عن مصادر دبلوماسية قولها: إن الشرع وفيدان سيقيّمان التقدم المحرز بمختلف مجالات التعاون بين تركيا وسورية خلال الأشهر الثمانية التي انقضت منذ الإطاحة بنظام بشار الأسد، إلى جانب التركيز على تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين. وذكرت وسائل إعلام عربية أن فيدان سيناقش مع الرئيس الشرع ومسؤولين آخرين اتفاق العاشر من مارس المبرم بين مظلوم عبدي القائد العام لقوات سورية الديمقراطية والرئاسة السورية، إضافة إلى التعاون الاقتصادي خصوصاً في مجالات الطاقة، والبنى التحتية، وإعادة الإعمار.
The Syrian presidency announced today (Thursday) that Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara' held a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in the capital, Damascus.
The Syrian news agency (SANA) reported that the Turkish presidency stated that the two sides discussed regional and global developments, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, noting that the meeting was attended by Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hasan al-Shibani.
The Turkish state news agency Anadolu reported from diplomatic sources that al-Shara' and Fidan will evaluate the progress made in various areas of cooperation between Turkey and Syria during the eight months that have passed since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime, in addition to focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Arab media outlets mentioned that Fidan will discuss with President al-Shara' and other officials the agreement of March 10 concluded between Mazloum Abdi, the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Syrian presidency, in addition to economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and reconstruction.
