كشفت مصادر أمنية يمنية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، ضبط شحنة تحتوي على أجهزة تجسس وطائرات مسيّرة غير مشروعة يرجح أنها كانت في طريقها إلى الحوثي، مبينة إن السفينة كانت في الأصل متجهة إلى ميناء الحديدة، لكن في ظل العقوبات الأمريكية اضطرت الشركة التابعة للسفينة إلى تحويل مسارها إلى ميناء عدن.
وأوضح المصدر أن الشحنة جرى تحريزها من قبل أجهزة قوات الحزام الأمني التي تعاملت مع المضبوطات وفق الإجراءات القانونية، وتم تحريزها تمهيداً لاستكمال التحقيقات من قبل الجهات المختصة بعد نزول قوات من الحزام الأمني واللجنة الرئاسية إلى ميناء عدن.
ولفت إلى أن الشحنة تحتوي على أجهزة تجسس وطائرات مسيّرة كانت ضمن شحنة مشبوهة، مبيناً أن الأجهزة الأمنية في عدن بحالة يقظة تامة وتراقب أي محاولات مشبوهة لتهريب الأسلحة.
واعتبر المصدر أن النجاح الأمني، الذي يرجح أن تعلنه الحكومة اليمنية قريباً بعد استكمال التحقيقات، يشكل ضربة قاصمة للحوثيين، ونفى مصدر في قوات الحزام الأمني الشائعات التي تتحدث عن وجود توترات بعد ضبط الشحنة في ميناء عدن، موضحاً أن الوضع كان هادئاً ومستقراً، وأن جميع الجهات المختصة تعاونت في أداء المهمات بكل مهنية وانضباط.
ولفت المصدر إلى أن قوات الحزام الأمني تبذل جهوداً في تأمين المنشآت الحيوية وحماية الأمن ستظل صمام أمان وتقف بالمرصاد لكل من تسوّل له نفسه تهديد أمن واستقرار البلاد.
Yemeni security sources revealed today (Tuesday) the seizure of a shipment containing illegal spying devices and drones, which are believed to have been on their way to the Houthis. They indicated that the ship was originally headed to the port of Hodeidah, but due to U.S. sanctions, the company operating the ship was forced to redirect its course to the port of Aden.
The source clarified that the shipment was secured by the Security Belt Forces, which handled the seized items according to legal procedures, and it was secured in preparation for further investigations by the relevant authorities after forces from the Security Belt and the presidential committee arrived at the port of Aden.
It was noted that the shipment contained spying devices and drones that were part of a suspicious cargo, indicating that security forces in Aden are in a state of complete vigilance and are monitoring any suspicious attempts to smuggle weapons.
The source considered that the security success, which the Yemeni government is likely to announce soon after completing the investigations, represents a significant blow to the Houthis. A source in the Security Belt Forces denied rumors about tensions following the seizure of the shipment at the port of Aden, explaining that the situation was calm and stable, and that all relevant authorities cooperated in carrying out their duties with professionalism and discipline.
The source emphasized that the Security Belt Forces are making efforts to secure vital facilities and protect security, and will remain a safeguard, standing ready against anyone who dares to threaten the security and stability of the country.
