أعلن المبعوث الأمريكي إلى الشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف اليوم (الأربعاء) عن «مسودة جديدة» لاتفاق غزة على وشك الإرسال، موضحاً إن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب سيراجعها.
وأعرب ويتكوف عن أمله في أن يتم تسليمها في وقت لاحق اليوم، مبيناً إن المسودة تنص على وقف إطلاق نار مؤقت.
وأعرب عن شعوره الإيجابي جداً بشأن التوصل إلى حل طويل الأمد وسلمي لهذا الصراع.
وكان ترمب قد قال إن إدارته تعمل على تسريع توصيل المواد الغذائية للفلسطينيين في غزة، مبيناً أنهم يتعاملون مع الوضع برمته في غزة، ويعملون لإيصال الغذاء لسكان القطاع، والوضع سيئ للغاية.
وكانت حركة حماس قد قالت إنها توصلت إلى اتفاق مع المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف، على إطار عام يحقق وقفاً دائماً لإطلاق النار، وانسحاباً كاملاً للجيش الإسرائيلي من قطاع غزة، وتدفّق المساعدات، وتولّي لجنة مهنية إدارة شؤون القطاع فور الإعلان عن الاتفاق.
وأشارت الحركة إلى أنها تبذل جهوداً كبيرة لوقف الحرب التي وصفتها بأنها همجية على قطاع غزة، مبينة أن الاتفاق يتضمّن إطلاق سراح 10 من الأسرى الإسرائيليين وعدد من الجثامين، مقابل إطلاق سراح عدد متفق عليه من الأسرى الفلسطينيين، بضمان الوسطاء (مصر وقطر والولايات المتحدة)، مبينة أنها تنتظر الردّ النهائي على هذا الإطار.
وتتحدث مصادر إعلامية أخرى عن خلافات حول ثلاث نقاط بين حماس وإسرائيل، أبرزها عدد أيام الهدنة التي تصر حماس أن تكون 90 يوماً فيما تشدد إسرائيل أن تكون 60 يوماً، والنقطة الثانية آلية الإفراج والذي تشدد حماس على ضرورة الإفراج عن خمسة أسرى في الأسبوع الأول وخمسة في الأسبوع الأخير، لكن إسرائيل تريدهم العشرة في الأسبوع الأول، أما النقطة الثالثة وهي الضمانات والتي تشدد حماس على ضرورة توقيع المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف على الاتفاق ومشاركته في مؤتمر صحافي للإعلان عن الاتفاق، وتقديم ضمانات منصوص عليها بأن يستمر وقف إطلاق النار طالما تستمر المفاوضات، لكن إسرائيل ترفض هذا الأمر.
The American envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, announced today (Wednesday) a "new draft" of the Gaza agreement that is about to be sent, explaining that President Donald Trump will review it.
Witkoff expressed hope that it would be delivered later today, indicating that the draft calls for a temporary ceasefire.
He expressed a very positive feeling about reaching a long-term and peaceful solution to this conflict.
Trump had stated that his administration is working to expedite the delivery of food supplies to the Palestinians in Gaza, noting that they are dealing with the entire situation in Gaza and working to deliver food to the residents of the enclave, and the situation is extremely dire.
The Hamas movement has stated that it has reached an agreement with American envoy Steve Witkoff on a general framework that achieves a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip, the flow of aid, and the establishment of a professional committee to manage the affairs of the sector immediately upon the announcement of the agreement.
The movement indicated that it is making significant efforts to stop what it described as a barbaric war on the Gaza Strip, noting that the agreement includes the release of 10 Israeli prisoners and a number of bodies, in exchange for the release of an agreed-upon number of Palestinian prisoners, with guarantees from the mediators (Egypt, Qatar, and the United States), stating that it is waiting for the final response to this framework.
Other media sources report disagreements on three points between Hamas and Israel, the most prominent of which is the number of days for the truce, which Hamas insists should be 90 days while Israel insists it should be 60 days. The second point is the mechanism for the release, with Hamas emphasizing the necessity of releasing five prisoners in the first week and five in the last week, but Israel wants all ten in the first week. The third point is the guarantees, with Hamas stressing the need for American envoy Steve Witkoff to sign the agreement and participate in a press conference to announce the agreement, providing guarantees that the ceasefire will continue as long as negotiations are ongoing, but Israel rejects this matter.
