ارتكبت قوات الاحتلال مجزرة جديدة راح ضحيتها العشرات من سكان حي الدرج المكتظ في غزة، الذي استفاق، اليوم الثلاثاء، على فاجعة حرق النازحين وهم نيام.
وحسب شهود عيان، فقد استهدفت طائرات إسرائيلية مدرسة موسى بن نصير التابعة لـ (الأونروا)، التي تأوي مئات النازحين الهاربين من القصف المتواصل في مناطق أخرى من القطاع المحاصر.
وأعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية ووكالة الدفاع المدني أن الغارة المباشرة على المدرسة أودت بحياة 44 فلسطينياً، غالبيتهم من النساء والأطفال، إلى جانب عشرات الجرحى، بعضهم في حالة حرجة.
وفي مشهد كارثي، وقفت امرأة فلسطينية وسط حطام محترق داخل أحد الفصول الدراسية، بعد أن التهمت النيران المكان الذي كان يؤويها وأبناءها. فيما ظهر أطفال يبحثون بين الركام عمّا تبقى من أشيائهم الصغيرة، في محاولة بائسة لإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه من الذكريات والملاذ المؤقت.

واستقبل مستشفى الأهلي العربي، المعروف باسم «مستشفى المعمداني»، جثامين الضحايا، وسط نحيب وعويل نساء فلسطينيات يودعن أحباءهن.
واحتشد عدد من المشيعين في جنازات جماعية، حاملين جثامين أقاربهم الذين قضوا تحت الأنقاض، في وقت كان آخرون يتعرفون على جثث ذويهم التي شُوهت بفعل القصف العنيف.
ووثقت تقارير حقوقية وأممية استهداف المدارس ومراكز الإيواء في غزة، مؤكدة أنها سياسة إسرائيلية ممنهجة منذ بدء الحرب، وسط تنديدات واسعة من منظمات دولية وإقليمية، أكدت أن قصف الملاجئ يمثل «جريمة حرب» وانتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
ومع دخول الحرب عامها الثاني، لم يعد في قطاع غزة المنكوب مكان آمن، بعد أن دمرت قوات الاحتلال البنية التحتية الصحية والتعليمية بشكل كامل، ما ضاعف معاناة أكثر من مليوني فلسطيني يعيشون تحت الحصار والقصف وحرب الإبادة، وسط عجز المجتمع الدولي.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli aircraft targeted the Musa Bin Nusayr School, which is run by UNRWA and shelters hundreds of displaced people fleeing the continuous bombardment in other areas of the besieged sector.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Civil Defense Agency announced that the direct strike on the school resulted in the deaths of 44 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, in addition to dozens of injured, some of whom are in critical condition.
In a catastrophic scene, a Palestinian woman stood amidst the charred debris inside one of the classrooms, after the flames consumed the place that sheltered her and her children. Meanwhile, children were seen searching through the rubble for what remained of their small belongings, in a desperate attempt to salvage whatever memories and temporary refuge they could.

The Arab Ahli Hospital, known as the "Baptist Hospital," received the bodies of the victims, amidst the wailing and cries of Palestinian women bidding farewell to their loved ones.
A number of mourners gathered for mass funerals, carrying the bodies of their relatives who perished under the rubble, while others were identifying the bodies of their family members, which had been disfigured by the violent bombardment.
Human rights and international reports documented the targeting of schools and shelters in Gaza, confirming that it is a systematic Israeli policy since the war began, amidst widespread condemnation from international and regional organizations, which stated that bombing shelters constitutes a "war crime" and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
As the war enters its second year, there is no longer a safe place in the besieged Gaza Strip, after the occupation forces completely destroyed the health and educational infrastructure, exacerbating the suffering of more than two million Palestinians living under siege, bombardment, and genocidal warfare, amidst the impotence of the international community.
