أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين عقد القمة الروسية-العربية الأولى في 15 أكتوبر القادم. ودعا جميع قادة دول جامعة الدول العربية إلى المشاركة فيها.
وقال بوتين بمناسبة انطلاق القمة الـ34 لجامعة الدول العربية اليوم (السبت) وفقاً للبرقية التي نشرت على الموقع الإلكتروني للكرملين: «نعتزم مواصلة تطوير الحوار البناء مع جامعة الدول العربية، والعلاقات الودية مع جميع أعضائها. وفي هذا الصدد، أدعو جميع قادة دول جامعتكم، والأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية، إلى المشاركة في القمة الروسية-العربية الأولى، التي نعتزم عقدها في 15 أكتوبر».
وأضاف أن القمة الروسية-العربية في أكتوبر ستسهم في زيادة تعزيز التعاون متعدد الأوجه، ذي المنفعة المتبادلة للدول، وستساعد في ضمان السلام والأمن والاستقرار في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
وبحسب وكالة «تاس» للأنباء، قال الرئيس الروسي: «إن روسيا تدعم الجهود السياسية والدبلوماسية للدول العربية لحل النزاعات في المنطقة». ولفت إلى أن القضايا المتنازع عليها في الشرق الأوسط ينبغي تسويتها مع احترام سيادة وسلامة أراضي الدول.
وخاطب بوتين الزعماء العرب المشاركين في القمة العربية التي تستضيفها العاصمة العراقية بغداد بقوله: «إن اجتماعكم يجري في وقت صعب للغاية. أدى تصعيد الصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي، الذي أودى بحياة عشرات الآلاف من المدنيين، إلى زيادة حادة في التوتر، ما أدى إلى تفاقم العديد من المشكلات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في البلدان المجاورة، وفي الشرق الأوسط ككل. في مثل هذا الوضع، أصبح دور جامعة الدول العربية كآلية فعالة للحوار والتفاعل متعدد الأطراف مطلوباً بشكل خاص».
وأضافت البرقية أن روسيا تدعم باستمرار الجهود السياسية والدبلوماسية الجماعية التي تبذلها الدول العربية، سواء في إطار الجامعة أو في أشكال أخرى، لتسوية التناقضات القائمة في المنطقة.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the holding of the first Russian-Arab summit on October 15. He invited all leaders of the Arab League member states to participate in it.
Putin stated on the occasion of the launch of the 34th Arab League summit today (Saturday), according to a message published on the Kremlin's official website: "We intend to continue developing a constructive dialogue with the Arab League and friendly relations with all its members. In this regard, I invite all leaders of your countries, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, to participate in the first Russian-Arab summit, which we intend to hold on October 15."
He added that the Russian-Arab summit in October will contribute to further enhancing multifaceted cooperation that is mutually beneficial for the countries and will help ensure peace, security, and stability in the Middle East and North Africa.
According to the TASS news agency, the Russian president said: "Russia supports the political and diplomatic efforts of Arab countries to resolve conflicts in the region." He pointed out that the disputed issues in the Middle East should be settled with respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries.
Putin addressed the Arab leaders participating in the Arab summit hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, saying: "Your meeting is taking place at a very difficult time. The escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of civilians, has led to a sharp increase in tension, exacerbating many social and economic problems in neighboring countries and in the Middle East as a whole. In such a situation, the role of the Arab League as an effective mechanism for dialogue and multilateral interaction is particularly needed."
The message added that Russia continuously supports the collective political and diplomatic efforts made by Arab countries, whether within the framework of the League or in other forms, to resolve the existing contradictions in the region.
