التقى المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، اليوم (الخميس)، الرئيس الدولي لمنظمة أطباء بلا حدود الدكتور كريستوس كريستو، وذلك على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة بدورتها الثمانين المنعقدة في مدينة نيويورك.
وبُحِث خلال اللقاء سبل التعاون في مجال تقديم المساعدات الطبية للمحتاجين والمتضررين.
وأشاد الدكتور كريستوس كريستو بالجهود الإنسانية الكبيرة التي تقدمها المملكة عبر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، منوهًا بدور المركز الفاعل في دعم القطاع الصحي ورعاية المرضى والمصابين في الدول المحتاجة.
The advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, met today (Thursday) with the International President of Doctors Without Borders, Dr. Christos Christou, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York City.
During the meeting, ways to cooperate in providing medical assistance to those in need and affected were discussed.
Dr. Christos Christou praised the significant humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through the King Salman Center for Relief, highlighting the center's active role in supporting the health sector and caring for patients and victims in needy countries.
