أعلنت شركة برق للمدفوعات الرقمية، المحفظة الأسرع نموًا في المملكة، عن توقيع 3 اتفاقيات شراكة إستراتيجية على هامش فعاليات مؤتمر Money20/20 Middle East الذي تستضيفه الرياض، في الفترة من 15 – 17 سبتمبر 2025، وذلك بما يعزز مكانتها في قطاع المدفوعات والخدمات المالية الرقمية.
وأبرمت «برق» اتفاقية تعاون مع شركة (iPiD)، الرائدة عالميًا في حلول المدفوعات الرقمية، بهدف تحسين تجربة العملاء وتطوير حلول مبتكرة في مجال المدفوعات العابرة للحدود، بما يسهم في تسريع التحويلات المالية وتعزيز موثوقيتها وأمانها، تماشيًا مع التوسع المتزايد في حركة التجارة الدولية.
ومثّل «برق» في مراسم التوقيع مدير إدارة الشراكات الدولية ثامر الحربي، فيما مثّل الشركة الشريكة المدير الإقليمي للشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا والهند سوراب رانجان.
ووقعت «برق» خلال اليوم الثاني من المؤتمر اتفاقية شراكة إستراتيجية مع شركة التعاونية للتأمين، إحدى كبرى شركات التأمين في المملكة، وتركّز الاتفاقية على استكشاف فرص التعاون في الخدمات المالية والتقنية والمنتجات ذات الصلة، مع الاستفادة من الحلول المبتكرة والمتكاملة التي تقدمها «برق» لدعم عملاء «التعاونية» وإثراء التجربة الرقمية في قطاع التأمين.
وشهد توقيع الاتفاقية حضور مدير مبيعات تأمين الحياة للأفراد حمود البدر، ممثلًا عن «التعاونية»، ومدير عام الشركات معاذ السدحان ممثلًا عن «برق».
كما عقدت برق شراكة إستراتيجية مع Innovative Systems، الرائدة عالميًا في أحد الحلول المحورية بمجال الامتثال. وتهدف هذه الشراكة إلى تعزيز برنامج الامتثال لدى «برق» من خلال الاستفادة من تقنيات العقوبات العالمية المتقدمة التي توفرها Innovative Systems، بما يضمن الالتزام باللوائح الدولية الخاصة بالعقوبات مع تقليل المخاطر التشغيلية.
وحضر التوقيع ممثلًا عن شركة برق الرئيس التنفيذي التجاري طلال القحطاني، بينما وقّعت الاتفاقية من جانب شركة Innovative Systems نائب الرئيس التنفيذي ديبورا أوفرديبت.
وفي هذا السياق، قال الرئيس التنفيذي والشريك المؤسس لشركة برق سعد المهنا، إن هذه الاتفاقيات تأتي من التزام «برق» الراسخ بتطوير منظومة المدفوعات الرقمية، وحرصها على بناء شراكات مؤثرة مع كبرى الشركات العالمية والإقليمية، بما يسهم في تعزيز الابتكار وفتح آفاق جديدة لنمو القطاع المالي في المملكة والمنطقة.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن جهود «برق» المستمرة لتوسيع شبكة شراكاتها الإستراتيجية محليًا ودوليًا، وتقديم حلول مالية رقمية متقدمة، في وقت حققت «برق» أداءً متميزًا خلال عامها الأول، مع وصول عدد مستخدميها إلى أكثر من 8 ملايين مستخدم من 150 جنسية، وإصدار أكثر من 6.5 مليون بطاقة مدفوعات رقمية، وتنفيذ أكثر من 500 مليون عملية دفع، مما يعكس التحول السريع للقطاع المالي في المملكة نحو الاقتصاد الرقمي غير النقدي، وتأكيد مكانة «برق» كمزود رائد لحلول المدفوعات الرقمية المبتكرة.
Burq Digital Payments Company, the fastest-growing wallet in the Kingdom, announced the signing of 3 strategic partnership agreements on the sidelines of the Money20/20 Middle East conference hosted in Riyadh from September 15 to 17, 2025, to enhance its position in the digital payments and financial services sector.
Burq signed a cooperation agreement with (iPiD), a global leader in digital payment solutions, aimed at improving customer experience and developing innovative solutions in cross-border payments, contributing to the acceleration of financial transfers and enhancing their reliability and security, in line with the increasing expansion of international trade.
Representing Burq at the signing ceremony was Thamer Alharbi, Director of International Partnerships, while the partner company was represented by Surab Ranjan, Regional Director for the Middle East, Africa, and India.
On the second day of the conference, Burq signed a strategic partnership agreement with Cooperative Insurance Company, one of the largest insurance companies in the Kingdom. The agreement focuses on exploring collaboration opportunities in financial and technical services and related products, leveraging the innovative and integrated solutions provided by Burq to support Cooperative's clients and enrich the digital experience in the insurance sector.
The signing of the agreement was attended by Hamoud Al-Badr, Director of Individual Life Insurance Sales, representing Cooperative, and Muath Al-Sadhan, General Manager of Corporates, representing Burq.
Burq also established a strategic partnership with Innovative Systems, a global leader in one of the pivotal compliance solutions. This partnership aims to enhance Burq's compliance program by leveraging advanced global sanctions technologies provided by Innovative Systems, ensuring adherence to international sanctions regulations while minimizing operational risks.
Representing Burq at the signing was Talal Al-Qahtani, Chief Commercial Officer, while the agreement was signed on behalf of Innovative Systems by Deborah Overdebt, Executive Vice President.
