أدانت منظمة التعاون الإسلامي بأشد العبارات العدوان الإسرائيلي الذي استهدف اليوم العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة والأعراف الدولية.
ونددت المنظمة بشدة بهذا الاعتداء الذي يمثل تصعيدا خطيرا، يهدد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، ويقوض الأمن والسلم الدوليين، ووصفته بالاعتداء الغاشم على سيادة دولة قطر وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها.
وأكد الأمين العام للمنظمة حسين إبراهيم طه، أن منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، انطلاقا من ميثاقها ومقررات القمة الإسلامية وقرارات مجلس وزراء الخارجية، ترفض رفضا قاطعا أي اعتداء على سيادة وأمن أي دولة عضو.
وعبرت المنظمة عن التضامن التام مع دولة قطر ودعمها لأمنها وسلامة أراضيها واستقرارها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين بها، مؤكدة مساندتها لكل ما تتخذه دولة قطر من إجراءات للحفاظ على أمنها وسيادتها.
ودعت منظمة التعاون الإسلامي مجددا المجتمع الدولي وخصوصا مجلس الأمن الدولي، لتحمل مسؤولياته لإلزام إسرائيل بوضع حد لاعتداءاتها الخطيرة والمتواصلة في المنطقة، والالتزام باحترام القانون الدولي وقرارات الشرعية الدولية.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted the Qatari capital, Doha, today, in a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and international norms.
The organization vehemently denounced this attack, which represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, undermines international peace and security, and described it as a brutal assault on the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, its security, and the integrity of its territory.
The Secretary-General of the organization, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, affirmed that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, based on its charter, the resolutions of the Islamic summit, and the decisions of the Council of Foreign Ministers, categorically rejects any aggression against the sovereignty and security of any member state.
The organization expressed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for its security, territorial integrity, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents, affirming its backing for all measures taken by the State of Qatar to maintain its security and sovereignty.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation once again called on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities in compelling Israel to put an end to its serious and ongoing aggressions in the region and to adhere to respecting international law and the decisions of international legitimacy.
