انطلقت اليوم، في عاصمة المملكة المتحدة «لندن» أعمال الجناح السعودي المشارك في معرض معدات الدفاع والأمن الدولي (DSEI2025) الذي تنظمه الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية خلال الفترة من 9 إلى 12 سبتمبر الجاري بمشاركة عدد من الجهات من القطاعين العام والخاص، حيث يضم المعرض عددًا من روّاد الصناعات العسكرية والأمنية من مختلف أنحاء العالم، ليتيح منصة لتعزيز العلاقات، وتبادل الخبرات، واستعراض أحدث التقنيات في مجالات الصناعات العسكرية.
وافتتح محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي الجناح السعودي، بحضور نائب وزير الحرس الوطني الدكتور ناصر بن عبدالعزيز الداوود، ورئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق الأول الركن فياض بن حامد الرويلي، و رئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني، عضو مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله الدعيلج، والقائم بأعمال سفارة المملكة العربية السعودية لدى المملكة المتحدة بندر بن سلمان السديري، إلى جانب الرؤساء التنفيذيين للشركات الوطنية المشاركة، وكبار المسؤولين العسكريين والخبراء والمتخصصين من مختلف دول العالم، وخلال جولة الافتتاح، اطلع أصحاب المعالي والسعادة على أحدث المنتجات الوطنية، والقدرات الصناعية العسكرية، والتقنيات المتقدمة المقدمة.
وأكد محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، أن مشاركة المملكة في معرض (DSEI2025) تأتي في إطار تعزيز مكانتها مركزًا إقليميًا رائدًا في الصناعات العسكرية، وتفعيل الشراكات الدولية لتمكين القطاع، واستقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية التي تسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 بتوطين أكثر من 50% من الإنفاق الحكومي على المعدات والخدمات العسكرية بحلول عام 2030، مؤكدًا أن الجناح السعودي يشكل منصة إستراتيجية لعرض ما حققته الشركات الوطنية من تقدم في تطوير منتجات وتقنيات دفاعية مبتكرة، ويكشف عن التزام المملكة بتعزيز التعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين بما يسهم في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة تأكيدًا على الدور المتنامي للمملكة العربية السعودية في قطاع الصناعات العسكرية، وحرص الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية على دعم وتمكين الشركات الوطنية، وتعزيز تنافسيتها على الساحة الدولية، بما يخدم أهداف الأمن الوطني والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.
ويهدف الجناح السعودي المشارك في المعرض إلى إبراز التطور النوعي الذي تشهده الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة، واستعراض أحدث الأنظمة والتقنيات الدفاعية، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون مع كبرى الشركات العالمية، وتشارك في الجناح إلى جانب الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية (GAMI)، عدّة جهات من القطاعين العام والخاص، تشمل الهيئة العامة للتطوير الدفاعي(GADD)، والشركة السعودية للصناعات العسكرية (SAMI)، والشركة الكيميائية السعودية المحدودة (SCCL)، والشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات (GDC Middle East)، إضافةً إلى معرض الدفاع العالمي (WDS).
ويستعرض الجناح السعودي على مدى أيام المعرض أبرز المنتجات والقدرات الصناعية العسكرية التي تبرز جهود تمكين الصناعات العسكرية بالمملكة، فيما تستعرض الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية دورها ومهامها وأولوياتها الوطنية، والسياسات والتشريعات التنظيمية، والحوافز ورحلة المستثمر، كما سيشهد الجناح السعودي العديد من اللقاءات الثنائية والاجتماعات مع الشركات والوفود الدولية المشاركة في المعرض بهدف تبادل الخبرات ونقل المعرفة.
Today, the Saudi pavilion participating in the International Defense and Security Equipment Exhibition (DSEI2025) was launched in the capital of the United Kingdom, "London." The exhibition is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries from September 9 to 12, with participation from various entities in both the public and private sectors. The exhibition includes a number of leading military and security industries from around the world, providing a platform to enhance relationships, exchange experiences, and showcase the latest technologies in military industries.
The Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohailey, inaugurated the Saudi pavilion, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of National Guard, Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Military Industries, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, as well as the Chargé d'Affaires of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom, Bandar bin Salman Al-Sudairi, along with the CEOs of the participating national companies, senior military officials, and experts and specialists from various countries around the world. During the opening tour, the dignitaries were briefed on the latest national products, military industrial capabilities, and the advanced technologies presented.
Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohailey, the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, confirmed that the Kingdom's participation in the (DSEI2025) exhibition comes as part of enhancing its position as a leading regional center in military industries, activating international partnerships to empower the sector, and attracting quality investments that contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to localize more than 50% of government spending on military equipment and services by 2030. He emphasized that the Saudi pavilion serves as a strategic platform to showcase the advancements made by national companies in developing innovative defense products and technologies, revealing the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing cooperation with international partners to contribute to achieving regional and international security and stability.
This participation reaffirms the growing role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the military industries sector and the General Authority for Military Industries' commitment to supporting and empowering national companies, enhancing their competitiveness on the international stage, in a manner that serves the goals of national security and sustainable economic development.
The Saudi pavilion participating in the exhibition aims to highlight the qualitative development witnessed by military industries in the Kingdom, showcase the latest defense systems and technologies, and open new horizons for cooperation with major global companies. In addition to the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), several entities from the public and private sectors are participating in the pavilion, including the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI), the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), and the Saudi Company for Aircraft Maintenance and Preparation (GDC Middle East), in addition to the World Defense Show (WDS).
Throughout the days of the exhibition, the Saudi pavilion will showcase the most prominent products and military industrial capabilities that highlight efforts to empower military industries in the Kingdom, while the General Authority for Military Industries will present its role, tasks, national priorities, regulatory policies and legislation, incentives, and the investor journey. The Saudi pavilion will also witness numerous bilateral meetings and discussions with participating international companies and delegations in the exhibition aimed at exchanging experiences and transferring knowledge.
