The activities of the "Bright Star 2025" exercise have commenced in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the participation of the Saudi Armed Forces, along with a number of brotherly and friendly forces.

Lieutenant General Adil Muhammad Al-Balawi, the Chairman of the Training and Development Authority of the Armed Forces, explained that the exercise aims to enhance military cooperation, develop concepts of joint action, and raise levels of readiness and operational coordination among the participating forces, through a series of activities that include command post exercises, field operations, and naval training in the area of operations.

He pointed out that the Saudi Armed Forces are participating with actual field units in various stages of the exercise, which contributes to enhancing the exchange of experiences and unifying concepts and procedures in unconventional operational environments, at various leadership and executive levels.

The "Bright Star 2025" exercise, which is being held at the Mohammed Naguib Military Base and several air and naval bases, includes the execution of joint operations in the fields of counter-terrorism, irregular warfare, logistical support, medical evacuation, and maritime security, including amphibious operations, as well as live-fire training and exercises simulating strategic mobility to deal with emergency situations.

The command post exercise aims to develop the skills of leaders and staff in planning, executing, and leading joint operations, and to enhance the efficiency of the participating forces in coordination procedures between units, in addition to testing command, control, and communication systems at various levels.
