التقى الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء الدكتور هشام بن سعد الجضعي، الملحق الثقافي بسفارة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الدكتورة تهاني البيز، وذلك في مقر الملحقية بواشنطن، بحضور عددٍ من الطلاب والطالبات المبتعثين، ضمن زيارته للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية للمشاركة في الاجتماع السنوي الـ41 للجمعية الدولية لعلم الوبائيات الدوائية.
وأكد الدكتور الجضعي حرص قيادة المملكة على تنمية عقول شباب وشابات الوطن من خلال ابتعاثهم إلى أعرق الجامعات العالمية، بما يجسد الدعم السخي وغير المحدود لتطوير القدرات البشرية في المملكة.
وأشاد بجهود المبتعثين في عكس صورة مشرفة للمملكة في المحافل الأكاديمية والعلمية، ودورهم في نقل المعرفة والتجارب الرائدة إلى وطنهم ليسهموا في بناء مستقبل أكثر تطوراً، خصوصاً في مجالي الغذاء والدواء، مشيراً إلى أن المبتعثين يمثلون ركيزة أساسية لدعم مسيرة التطوير والابتكار، واستثماراً إستراتيجياً للمملكة في رأس المال البشري.
واستمع خلال اللقاء إلى تجارب وطموحات الطلاب المبتعثين، وأجاب عن استفساراتهم، مؤكداً سعي الهيئة للاستفادة من أحدث التجارب الدولية والتعاون مع الجهات الأكاديمية والبحثية العالمية لتطوير قدراتها، مشدداً على دورهم المحوري في تحقيق التنمية والازدهار، كلٌ في مجاله.
The CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhai, met with the cultural attaché at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the United States, Dr. Tahani Al-Biz, at the attaché's office in Washington, in the presence of a number of male and female scholarship students, as part of his visit to the United States to participate in the 41st annual meeting of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.
Dr. Al-Jadhai affirmed the Kingdom's leadership's commitment to developing the minds of the nation's youth by sending them to the most prestigious universities worldwide, reflecting the generous and unlimited support for enhancing human capabilities in the Kingdom.
He praised the efforts of the scholarship students in showcasing a commendable image of the Kingdom in academic and scientific forums, and their role in transferring knowledge and pioneering experiences back to their homeland to contribute to building a more advanced future, especially in the fields of food and medicine, noting that the scholarship students represent a fundamental pillar in supporting the development and innovation journey, and a strategic investment for the Kingdom in human capital.
During the meeting, he listened to the experiences and aspirations of the scholarship students and answered their inquiries, emphasizing the authority's efforts to benefit from the latest international experiences and collaborate with global academic and research institutions to enhance its capabilities, stressing their pivotal role in achieving development and prosperity, each in their respective field.
