أكدت وزارة التعليم أن الحضور والانضباط المدرسي عنصران أساسيان في رفع المعدل الدراسي، وتعزيز السلوك، وزيادة فرص التميز للطلاب والطالبات.
وأوضحت أن درجة السلوك (100 درجة) ودرجة المواظبة (100 درجة) تُحتسبان ضمن المعدل الدراسي الفصلي، وتشمل المواظبة الالتزام بالقيم الإسلامية والوطنية، والحضور المنتظم للمدرسة حسب المواعيد الرسمية المحددة.
وبيّنت الوزارة أن الانضباط يؤهل الطالب للمنافسة على جوائز التميز والإبداع، كما يسهم في مشاركته في المسابقات الوطنية والدولية.
وشددت على أن الغياب بدون عذر يؤدي إلى الحرمان من الانتقال، إذا تجاوز الطالب نسبة 10% من أيام العام الدراسي، بحيث لا ينتقل الطالب في المرحلتين الابتدائية والمتوسطة للفصل الدراسي التالي، ولا ينتقل طالب المرحلة الثانوية للعام الدراسي التالي.
كما أكدت الوزارة على ضرورة إدخال الغياب يوميًا، وأن تقديم العذر يجب أن يتم خلال المدة النظامية، مع إرفاق ما يثبت سبب الغياب مثل تقرير طبي، إشعار من منصة «صحتي»، أو مشهد مشاركة رسمي.
وأشارت إلى أن درجة المواظبة تُدوّن في كشف الدرجات ضمن حقل خاص في بطاقة الطالب، وتُعد جزءًا رسميًا من الدرجات.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that attendance and school discipline are essential elements in raising academic performance, enhancing behavior, and increasing opportunities for excellence for both male and female students.
It clarified that the behavior grade (100 points) and the attendance grade (100 points) are included in the semester academic average, and attendance includes adherence to Islamic and national values, as well as regular attendance at school according to the specified official times.
The ministry indicated that discipline qualifies students to compete for excellence and creativity awards, and also contributes to their participation in national and international competitions.
It emphasized that absenteeism without an excuse leads to the deprivation of promotion if the student exceeds 10% of the school year's days, meaning that students in elementary and middle school will not be promoted to the next semester, and high school students will not be promoted to the next academic year.
The ministry also stressed the necessity of recording absences daily, and that submitting an excuse must be done within the legal timeframe, along with attaching proof of the reason for absence such as a medical report, a notification from the "Sehati" platform, or an official participation certificate.
It noted that the attendance grade is recorded in the grade report in a special field on the student’s card and is considered an official part of the grades.
