أمير جازان يتفقّد محافظة الريث ويلتقي المشايخ والأهالي

The Emir of the Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, met today, in the presence of his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Jalawi, with the sheikhs and residents of the Al-Rith Governorate as part of his inspection visit to the governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Emir of Jazan stated that his visit to Al-Rith Governorate and meeting its people to exchange views on all matters concerning development in the governorate comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership - may God support it - to follow up on the implementation of development projects that meet the needs of citizens and residents, and to enhance investment opportunities in the governorate based on its natural, touristic, and heritage resources, emphasizing the role of the people of Al-Rith in developing their governorate and building a prosperous future.

During the meeting, the Emir of the Jazan Region listened to a speech delivered on behalf of the residents by Dr. Mufarrah bin Yahya Al-Rithi, who welcomed the Emir and his deputy during this visit, which embodies the deep relationship between the leadership and the citizens based on loyalty, trust, care, and shared responsibility. He appreciated the Emir of Jazan and his deputy's commitment to everything that benefits the progress and welfare of the region and its people.

After that, the attendees watched a visual presentation that narrated the transformation witnessed by Al-Rith Governorate and its affiliated centers under the follow-up of His Highness the Emir of Jazan and His Highness the Deputy, showcasing the development projects aimed at providing services to citizens and preparing the infrastructure. The series of developmental projects continues to improve the urban landscape, including "paving roads, lighting them, creating parks and recreational areas, and establishing several stunning mountain viewpoints," leading to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in the centers and villages of the governorate.

The package of municipal projects included the implementation of 8 projects costing 14 million riyals, which included paving and cleaning works, and 6 projects currently being executed at a value of 61 million riyals that enhance the infrastructure and cover areas of "flood prevention, paving, lighting, and afforestation." The municipality launched 3 investment projects worth 17 million riyals, which included the establishment of "rural lodges, and a factory for producing blocks and concrete," in addition to a "recreational resort" in the Black Mountain Center to be a touristic and economic landmark that enhances the region's attractiveness.

Two poems were then recited, which were well received by the attendees.

At the end of the meeting, the Emir of Jazan honored a number of sheikhs who contributed to encouraging farmers in the governorate to cultivate coffee, while he and his deputy received commemorative gifts on this occasion.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of Al-Rith, Ibrahim bin Hadi Al-Shaabi, directors of government departments, and heads of centers.
