تنفيذ حكم القتل تعزيرًا بمواطنين ارتكبا عددًا من الجرائم الإرهابية

The Ministry of Interior issued a statement today regarding the implementation of the death penalty as a discretionary punishment for both Mujahel bin Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Fawzan and Suleiman bin Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Fawzan - Saudi nationals - for committing a number of terrorist crimes. These crimes included their membership in a terrorist cell that planned to target individuals belonging to a military base in one of the Kingdom's provinces by monitoring that base and observing the movement of vehicles transporting individuals to and from the base; with the aim of carrying out suicide operations inside the base, pledging allegiance to the leader of a terrorist organization, financing terrorism and terrorist activities, concealing a number of supporters of the terrorist organization, and possessing weapons intended for use in disrupting internal security.

Thanks to God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned individuals, and the investigation with them resulted in charges being brought against them for committing those crimes. Upon referring them to the competent court, a ruling was issued confirming the charges against them and sentencing them to death as a discretionary punishment. The ruling became final after being upheld by its reference, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided legally.

The death penalty was carried out today, Tuesday, 28/12/1446 AH, corresponding to 24/06/2025, in the Al-Qassim region.
