دشن مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية 7 مشاريع طبية تطوعية تشمل مجالات جراحة القلب والقسطرة، وجراحة العظام والمفاصل، وتركيب الأطراف الصناعية وإعادة التأهيل، وجراحة الأطفال، وجراحة المسالك البولية للأطفال، ومكافحة العمى والأمراض المسببة له، في مدينة دمشق بالجمهورية العربية السورية، خلال الفترة 17 - 24 مايو 2025م، ضمن برنامج أمل التطوعي السعودي لمساعدة الأشقاء في سورية، بمشاركة 86 متطوعاً من مختلف التخصصات الطبية.
وكشف الفريق الطبي التطوعي التابع للمركز منذ بدء الحملة على (258) فرداً في العيادات التخصصية، وأجرى (8) عمليات جراحية للقلب، و(76) عملية للقسطرة القلبية، و(24) عملية في جراحة العظام، و(26) عملية في جراحة المفاصل، وتركيب (38) طرفاً صناعياً، وتنفيذ (9) عمليات في جراحة الأطفال، و(5) عمليات في جراحة المسالك البولية، و(200) عملية جراحية متخصصة في العيون، تكللت جميعها بالنجاح التام ولله الحمد.
يُذكر أن برنامج أمل السعودي التطوعي يستهدف تنفيذ (104) حملات في المجالات الطبية والجراحية، وتقديم برامج تدريبية وتعليمية ومبادرات تمكين اقتصادي في سورية، بمشاركة (3000) متطوع ومتطوعة، وتقدر ساعات العمل التطوعية فيه بنحو (218500) ساعة.
ويأتي ذلك في إطار الجهود الطبية التطوعية التي تقدمها المملكة العربية السعودية عبر ذراعها الإنسانية مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة؛ لمساعدة المحتاجين والمتضررين في مختلف الأزمات والمحن.
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action launched 7 voluntary medical projects that include fields such as heart surgery and catheterization, orthopedic and joint surgery, prosthetic limb fitting and rehabilitation, pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, and combating blindness and its causes, in the city of Damascus, Syrian Arab Republic, during the period from May 17 to May 24, 2025, as part of the Saudi Volunteer Hope Program to assist our brothers in Syria, with the participation of 86 volunteers from various medical specialties.
The volunteer medical team affiliated with the center revealed that since the start of the campaign, they have treated (258) individuals in specialized clinics, performed (8) heart surgeries, (76) cardiac catheterizations, (24) orthopedic surgeries, (26) joint surgeries, fitted (38) prosthetic limbs, conducted (9) pediatric surgeries, (5) urological surgeries, and (200) specialized eye surgeries, all of which were completely successful, thank God.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Volunteer Hope Program aims to implement (104) campaigns in medical and surgical fields, provide training and educational programs, and initiate economic empowerment initiatives in Syria, with the participation of (3000) male and female volunteers, and the estimated volunteer work hours amount to approximately (218,500) hours.
This comes as part of the voluntary medical efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Center for Relief, to assist those in need and affected by various crises and calamities.
