استعرض وزير العدل الدكتور وليد محمد الصمعاني، مع وزير العدل في اليابان كيسوكي سوزوكي، التطورات التي يشهدها القطاع القضائي والعدلي، بدعم من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وإشراف ومتابعة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، لاسيما ما يتعلق بمنظومة التشريعات المتخصصة، ودورها في تحقيق العدالة الناجزة.
وأشار الصمعاني، إلى أبرز التطورات المتعلقة بالقطاع العدلي، ومنها ما يتعلق بتعزيز مبدأ العلانية والشفافية، من خلال توثيق الجلسات القضائية بالصوت والصورة، سواء كان ذلـك فـي قاعات المحكمـة أو مـن خلال الجلسات الافتراضية في التقاضي الإلكتروني، ونشر الأحكام القضائية، إضافة إلى جهود تفعيل منظومة العدالة الوقائية من خلال توثيق العقود لتكون سندات تنفيذية.
جاء ذلك في اللقاء الذي جمع الوزير الصمعاني، بنظيره الياباني، خلال زيارته الرسمية إلى اليابان، التي شهدت مباحثات تعزيز سُبل العلاقات بين البلدين، في المجال العدلي، وتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في المجال القضائي، تشمل تبادل الخبرات والمعلومات، في المجالات القانونية والعدلية، كما تشمل مجالات التعاون: التشريعات، وبناء القدرات، وتسوية المنازعات.

The Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid Muhammad Al-Samaani, reviewed with the Japanese Minister of Justice, Keisuke Suzuki, the developments in the judicial and legal sector, supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, particularly regarding the system of specialized legislations and its role in achieving swift justice.
Al-Samaani pointed out the most significant developments related to the judicial sector, including those aimed at enhancing the principle of publicity and transparency, by documenting court sessions in audio and video, whether in courtrooms or through virtual sessions in electronic litigation, and publishing judicial rulings. Additionally, efforts are being made to activate the preventive justice system by documenting contracts to serve as enforceable instruments.
This came during the meeting that brought together Minister Al-Samaani and his Japanese counterpart during his official visit to Japan, which included discussions to enhance the means of relations between the two countries in the judicial field and the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the judicial domain, which includes the exchange of expertise and information in legal and judicial fields, as well as areas of cooperation: legislations, capacity building, and dispute resolution.
