آل الشيخ يلتقي رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري

The Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, met today in Cairo with the Prime Minister of Egypt, Mostafa Madbouly, as part of his official visit at the head of a delegation from the council to the Arab Republic of Egypt; in response to an official invitation he received from the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali.

The Egyptian Prime Minister welcomed the Chairman of the Shura Council at the beginning of the meeting, praising the strong relations that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples. He appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in supporting Arab issues, commending the extensive growth and prosperity the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields.

For his part, the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prime Minister for the warm reception, affirming the depth of the strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. He reviewed the progress and growth the Kingdom is experiencing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, as well as the achievements of Vision 2030 in all areas.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed, along with prospects for joint cooperation and ways to enhance and develop them to achieve the common interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by the official delegation accompanying the Chairman of the Shura Council, including council members Saad bin Sulaib Al-Otaibi, Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Tawi, Dr. Amal bint Yahya Al-Sheikh, Dr. Ghada bint Talat Al-Hadhli, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini.

Also present from the Egyptian side were several senior officials from the Egyptian Cabinet.
