دشّن أمير منطقة تبوك الأمير فهد بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، أمس، 3 مشروعات حيوية للطرق بتكلفة إجمالية بلغت 176 مليون ريال، بحضور وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للطرق المهندس صالح ناصر الجاسر، وعدد من قيادات منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية.
وشملت المشروعات معالجة المواقع المتضررة على طرق «تبوك-المدينة المنورة»، و«تبوك-الجوف»، و«تبوك-ضباء»، بما يعزّز مستوى السلامة ويرفع كفاءة الطرق الرابطة بين محافظات المنطقة، ويحسن تجربة مستخدميها.
وأكد أمير تبوك، أن المشروعات تعكس الدعم والاهتمام اللذين توليهما القيادة لتنمية مناطق المملكة وتطوير بنيتها التحتية، مثمّناً جهود منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في دعم التنمية الشاملة بالمنطقة وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
وأوضح وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، أن المشروعات ستسهم في تعزيز حركة التنقل وخدمة قاصدي المنطقة، مشيراً إلى تنفيذها وفق أعلى معايير السلامة والجودة واشتراطات كود الطرق السعودي، مؤكداً مواصلة العمل على تطوير شبكة الطرق وتعزيز مكانة المملكة مركزاً لوجستياً عالمياً. كما دشّن أمير تبوك، مبادرة «طرق متميزة آمنة»، التي تستهدف إجراء مسح وتقييم شامل لشبكة الطرق خارج النطاق العمراني بالمنطقة، بمشاركة أسطول المسح والتقييم التابع للهيئة العامة للطرق، إلى جانب إتاحة مشاركة الأهالي عبر مركز الاتصال 938 والتطبيق ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي لرصد الملاحظات.
وتغطي المبادرة شبكة طرق يتجاوز إجمالي أطوالها 3850 كيلومتراً، في إطار تعزيز مشاركة المجتمع في رفع مستوى السلامة وجودة الطرق، بالتزامن مع أعمال المسح والتقييم الدورية التي تنفذها الهيئة.
وشهدت المناسبة توقيع مذكرة تعاون بين إمارة منطقة تبوك والمركز الوطني لسلامة النقل لتعزيز مستوى سلامة النقل بالمنطقة، إلى جانب عرض مرئي عن المبادرة والمشروعات المدشنة، قبل أن يتسلم أمير تبوك هدية تذكارية من وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية.
The Prince of Tabuk, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated yesterday 3 vital road projects with a total cost of 176 million riyals, in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Roads, Engineer Saleh Nasser Al-Jasser, along with several leaders from the transport and logistics services sector.
The projects included addressing damaged sites on the roads "Tabuk-Madinah," "Tabuk-Al-Jouf," and "Tabuk-Dhuba," which enhances safety levels and improves the efficiency of the roads connecting the provinces of the region, thereby improving the experience of its users.
The Prince of Tabuk confirmed that the projects reflect the support and attention given by the leadership to the development of the regions of the Kingdom and the enhancement of its infrastructure, appreciating the efforts of the transport and logistics services sector in supporting comprehensive development in the region and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services explained that the projects will contribute to enhancing mobility and serving those visiting the region, noting that they are being implemented according to the highest safety and quality standards and the requirements of the Saudi Road Code, affirming the continued efforts to develop the road network and strengthen the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub. The Prince of Tabuk also launched the "Safe Distinguished Roads" initiative, which aims to conduct a comprehensive survey and assessment of the road network outside the urban area of the region, with the participation of the surveying and assessment fleet of the General Authority for Roads, in addition to allowing community participation through the call center 938, the application, and social media platforms to report observations.
The initiative covers a road network with a total length exceeding 3,850 kilometers, as part of enhancing community participation in raising the safety and quality of roads, coinciding with the periodic survey and assessment activities carried out by the authority.
The event witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Emirate of Tabuk and the National Transport Safety Center to enhance the level of transport safety in the region, along with a visual presentation about the initiative and the launched projects, before the Prince of Tabuk received a commemorative gift from the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services.
