The Acting Director General of Passports, the Commander of the Hajj Passport Forces, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba, inspected the Committee for Entry Permits to the Holy Capital at its headquarters in Mecca.

Major General Al-Murabba reviewed the workflow mechanism in the committee, emphasizing the importance of processing all incoming requests for issuing entry permits to the Holy Capital quickly and accurately.

It is noteworthy that the Passports Department has started receiving requests for issuing entry permits to the Holy Capital electronically for resident workers during the Hajj season through the Ministry of Interior's electronic platform "Absher" and the Muqeem portal, in addition to the comprehensive national application (Tawakkalna) without the need to visit the passport administration offices. This platform integrates with the unified digital platform for Hajj permits "Tasreeh Platform," launched by the Ministry of Interior in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which developed the platform.

This aims to enhance technical integration between government and service entities during Hajj, unify and organize procedures, and coordinate among them during Hajj seasons, in addition to contributing to providing high-quality services that enable the guests of Allah to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance, achieving the objectives of the Guests of Allah program, one of the initiatives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
