أجرى وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، أمس، ثلاثة اتصالات هاتفية، شملت وزير الدفاع الياباني شينجيرو كويزومي، ونائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الدفاع الأسترالي ريتشارد مارلز، ووزير الدفاع الوطني الكوري كانغ شين تشول.
وبحث الأمير خالد بن سلمان، خلال اتصاله بالوزير الياباني، التعاون العسكري والدفاعي بين البلدين وسبل تعزيزه، وأهمية دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، كما جرى إدانة الاعتداءات الإرهابية التي تشنّها مليشيا الحوثي على المملكة.
وتناول اتصاله مع نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الدفاع الأسترالي سبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق الدفاعي، والالتزام المشترك تجاه التحديات الراهنة في المنطقة بما يدعم الأمن والاستقرار، إلى جانب إدانة الهجمات الإرهابية الحوثية على المملكة.
وفي بداية اتصاله بوزير الدفاع الوطني الكوري كانغ شين تشول، هنأه الأمير خالد بن سلمان، بمناسبة تعيينه وزيراً للدفاع، كما بحث الجانبان آفاق التعاون الدفاعي والتطورات الإقليمية، وأكدا أهمية دعم المساعي الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام في المنطقة والعالم، وإدانة الهجمات الإرهابية الحوثية على المملكة.

At the beginning of his call with South Korean National Defense Minister Kang Shin-chul, Prince Khalid bin Salman congratulated him on his appointment as Minister of Defense.
