باشرت شرطة محافظة حفر الباطن بالمنطقة الشرقية بلاغاً عن فقدان مواطن وزوجته، وعثرت عليهما في منطقة صحراوية، إذ حاول الزوج إيذاء نفسه بسلاح ناري بحوزته، ونُقلا إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية الطبية.
وتوفيت الزوجة لاحقاً متأثرة بإصابتها، فيما أظهرت إجراءات الاستدلال معاناة الزوج من اعتلالات نفسية، وجرى استكمال الإجراءات النظامية وإحالة الواقعة إلى النيابة العامة.
The police in Al-Hafuf Governorate in the Eastern Province responded to a report about a missing citizen and his wife, and found them in a desert area, where the husband attempted to harm himself with a firearm in his possession. They were taken to the hospital for medical care.
The wife later died from her injuries, while the investigation revealed that the husband was suffering from psychological disorders. The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the case was referred to the public prosecutor.
