محافظ جدة يتفقّد ميناء جدة الإسلامي ويطّلع على عملياته التشغيلية  

The Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, inspected the Jeddah Islamic Port, reviewing the progress of work in its facilities and the operational and logistical processes it provides, as part of the follow-up on the marine and logistical sector projects in the province.

He was received upon his arrival at the administrative tower of the port by the Vice President of Operations for the (Western Coast) Ports, Saud bin Tamah Al-Anini, the Executive Director of Jeddah Islamic Port, Captain Ali bin Salem Al-Mahwari, and a number of security and government leaders.

The governor visited the Command and Control Center and Capability Building, where he listened to an explanation about the mechanisms for managing operations and monitoring cargo movement within the port, as well as the role of technical systems in supporting operational efficiency and enhancing service levels.

He watched a visual presentation that showcased the main operations and services provided by the port, and the efforts made to develop its infrastructure, increase its capacity, and enhance the quality of maritime services, which strengthens its position in the maritime trade system and solidifies the connection of the Kingdom's ports to the global maritime transport network.

Prince Saud bin Jalawi toured the Red Sea Gateway Terminal, reviewing its facilities and the operational processes and tasks within it, as well as inspecting the marine control tower and learning about the latest technologies used in the entry and exit of ships.

The governor's visit is part of field tours of vital facilities in Jeddah, to assess the readiness of operational services, particularly those related to the logistics sector, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of the transport system and supporting commercial and economic activity in the province.
