استقبل نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، في مقر الإمارة، المدير العام لفرع المركز الوطني لتنمية الغطاء النباتي ومكافحة التصحر بالمنطقة عادل الطياري.
واستمع نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة إلى شرح عن جهود المركز، ومن أبرزها زراعة أكثر من 7.7 مليون شجرة في المنطقة حتى منتصف عام 2026، من خلال 101 مشروع تشجير، بمشاركة 66 جهة من القطاعات الحكومية والخاصة وغير الربحية.
واطّلع على أبرز مشروعات ومبادرات المركز في المنطقة، الهادفة إلى تنمية الغطاء النباتي وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, received at the emirate's headquarters the Director General of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification in the region, Adel Al-Tayyari.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region listened to an explanation about the center's efforts, the most notable of which is the planting of more than 7.7 million trees in the region by mid-2026, through 101 afforestation projects, with the participation of 66 entities from the governmental, private, and non-profit sectors.
He was briefed on the center's most prominent projects and initiatives in the region, aimed at developing vegetation cover and enhancing environmental sustainability.
