وقَّعت المملكة العربية السعودية، ممثلةً في هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد، وجمهورية السنغال، ممثلةً بالمكتب الوطني لمكافحة الفساد، مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز التعاون في مجال منع الفساد ومكافحة الجرائم العابرة للحدود المرتبطة بقضايا الفساد.
ومثّل المملكة في توقيع المذكرة رئيس هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد مازن بن إبراهيم الكهموس، فيما مثّل الجانب السنغالي رئيس المكتب الوطني لمكافحة الفساد مصطفى كاه.
وتستهدف المذكرة تعزيز التعاون المؤسسي، وتبادل المعلومات والخبرات، وبناء القدرات، وتطوير الممارسات المتخصصة في حماية النزاهة والوقاية من الفساد ومكافحته، بما يتوافق مع أحكام اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد.
كما بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون وتبادل أفضل الممارسات في مجالات الشفافية والحوكمة ومكافحة الجرائم المالية والفساد العابر للحدود، بما يدعم الجهود الدولية في ترسيخ النزاهة والحد من جرائم الفساد.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, and the Republic of Senegal, represented by the National Office for the Fight Against Corruption, signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of corruption prevention and combating transnational crimes related to corruption issues.
The Kingdom was represented in the signing of the memorandum by the President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, while the Senegalese side was represented by the President of the National Office for the Fight Against Corruption, Mustafa Kah.
The memorandum aims to enhance institutional cooperation, exchange information and experiences, build capacities, and develop specialized practices in protecting integrity and preventing and combating corruption, in accordance with the provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange best practices in the areas of transparency, governance, and combating financial crimes and transnational corruption, in support of international efforts to establish integrity and reduce corruption crimes.
