التقى وزير العدل رئيس المجلس الأعلى للقضاء المكلف الدكتور وليد بن محمد الصمعاني، في مقر المجلس الأعلى للقضاء بالرياض، برئيس مجلس القضاء الأعلى في جمهورية العراق الدكتور فائق زيدان، في زيارة رسمية له للمملكة، لتعزيز التعاون القضائي بين البلدين.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث أوجه التعاون القضائي والقانوني بين البلدين، وسبل تطويره، إلى جانب تعزيز قنوات التواصل والتنسيق بين المؤسسات العدلية في البلدين.
كما تناول اللقاء تبادل الخبرات والمعارف في المجالات القضائية والقانونية، والاستفادة من التجارب والممارسات التي تسهم في تطوير العمل القضائي وتعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين.
ويأتي اللقاء في إطار العلاقات الأخوية التي تجمع المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية العراق، والحرص المشترك على تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
The Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, met at the headquarters of the Supreme Judicial Council in Riyadh with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Faik Zidan, during his official visit to the Kingdom, to enhance judicial cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it, as well as enhancing communication and coordination channels between the judicial institutions in both countries.
The meeting also addressed the exchange of experiences and knowledge in judicial and legal fields, and benefiting from practices that contribute to the development of judicial work and strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
This meeting comes within the framework of the fraternal relations that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq, and the mutual commitment to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in areas of common interest.
