وزير الشؤون الإسلامية يستقبل نظيره بجمهورية المالديف

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, received today in his office in Jeddah, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.

During the reception, friendly conversations took place, and several topics of mutual interest were discussed, along with ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of Islamic affairs, contributing to the service of Islamic work and promoting the values of moderation, tolerance, and balance.

Al Sheikh emphasized during the meeting the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance's commitment to enhancing cooperation and communication with Islamic entities and institutions in various countries around the world, and exchanging experiences in areas of mutual interest, which serves Islam and Muslims and contributes to spreading the approach of moderation and balance and rejecting extremism and radicalism.

For his part, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Maldives expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims, commending the programs and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance that contribute to spreading the values of moderation, tolerance, and enhancing Islamic cooperation.
