كشفت مصادر لـ «عكاظ» أن الحريق الذي اندلع في أحد المواقع الجبلية بمحافظة تنومة، بدأ إثر صاعقة رعدية شهدتها المحافظة أخيراً، قبل أن تتجدد ألسنة اللهب اليوم وتمتد إلى عدد من الجبال المجاورة.
ويشارك طيران الدفاع المدني في مساندة الفرق الميدانية بعمليات الإخماد، ضمن جهود متواصلة للحد من انتشار النيران والسيطرة عليها.
ولم تُسجل أي خسائر في الأرواح، فيما اقتصرت الأضرار على الغطاء النباتي، مع استمرار أعمال المكافحة حتى إخماد الحريق بشكل كامل.
Sources revealed to "Okaz" that the fire that broke out in one of the mountainous areas in the Tanomah governorate started due to a thunderstorm that recently hit the governorate, before the flames reignited today and spread to several nearby mountains.
The Civil Defense Aviation is participating in supporting the field teams in firefighting operations, as part of ongoing efforts to limit the spread of the flames and control them.
No loss of life has been reported, while the damages were limited to vegetation, with firefighting efforts continuing until the fire is completely extinguished.
