اطّلع أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز خلال استقباله في مكتبه أمين المنطقة المهندس يحيى الغزواني على جاهزية أمانة المنطقة والبلديات المرتبطة بها لموسم الأمطار، والخطط والإجراءات الميدانية الهادفة إلى رفع مستوى الاستعداد وتعزيز كفاءة تصريف مياه الأمطار والتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة.
وأكد على أهمية مواصلة رفع الجاهزية، وتعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات ذات العلاقة، وتكثيف الجولات الميدانية، وسرعة الاستجابة للبلاغات، بما يحقق أعلى معايير السلامة، ويضمن استمرارية الخدمات للمواطنين والمقيمين، تنفيذًا لتوجيهات القيادة الرشيدة.
بدوره أبرز أمين منطقة جازان مؤشرات الجاهزية، مشيرًا إلى ربط مركز الطوارئ والأزمات بـ(25) غرفة عمليات، وتجهيز أكثر من (5000) كادر ميداني وآليات ومعدات، إلى جانب تنفيذ مشاريع لتطوير شبكات تصريف مياه الأمطار والحماية من أخطار السيول، أسهمت في معالجة (481) موقعًا حرجًا لتجمعات مياه الأمطار على مستوى المنطقة.

The Prince of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, during his reception of the region's Secretary, Engineer Yahya Al-Ghazwani, was briefed on the readiness of the region's municipality and the municipalities associated with it for the rainy season, as well as the plans and field procedures aimed at raising the level of preparedness and enhancing the efficiency of rainwater drainage and dealing with emergency situations.
He emphasized the importance of continuing to raise readiness, enhancing coordination among the relevant authorities, intensifying field tours, and responding quickly to reports, in order to achieve the highest safety standards and ensure the continuity of services for citizens and residents, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership.
For his part, the Secretary of Jazan Region highlighted the readiness indicators, pointing out the connection of the emergency and crisis center to (25) operation rooms, the preparation of more than (5000) field personnel and equipment, in addition to implementing projects to develop rainwater drainage networks and protect against flood risks, which contributed to addressing (481) critical sites for rainwater accumulation across the region.
