صادرت أمانة منطقة عسير، ممثلة في إدارة الرقابة المسائية، أكثر من 1300 «سكوتر» مخالف منذ بداية عام 2026، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز السلامة العامة، وتنظيم استخدام وسائل التنقل الحديثة في الحدائق والمتنزهات والمرافق العامة بمدينة أبها.
وأوضحت الأمانة أن الفرق الرقابية كثفت جولاتها الميدانية لرصد المخالفات المرتبطة بتشغيل السكوترات في المواقع العامة، إذ جرى ضبط ومصادرة السكوترات المخالفة بعد تجاوزات من أبرزها القيادة في مواقع غير مخصصة، وإعاقة حركة المشاة، وتعريض مرتادي الحدائق والمتنزهات لمخاطر تؤثر على سلامتهم.
وأكدت الأمانة أن هذه الإجراءات تأتي في إطار جهودها الرامية إلى رفع مستوى الالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات والمحافظة على سلامة الزوار، وتوفير بيئة آمنة ومنظمة داخل المرافق العامة بما يسهم في تعزيز جودة الحياة والارتقاء بالخدمات البلدية.
وأشارت أمانة عسير إلى استمرار الحملات الرقابية بالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة لرصد المخالفات واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحق المخالفين، بما يحافظ على المرافق العامة ويضمن حقوق مرتاديها، ويعزز الاستخدام الآمن والمنظم لوسائل التنقل الحديثة.
The Municipality of Asir, represented by the Evening Monitoring Department, has confiscated more than 1,300 violating scooters since the beginning of 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and regulate the use of modern transportation means in parks, recreational areas, and public facilities in the city of Abha.
The municipality clarified that the monitoring teams have intensified their field tours to detect violations related to the operation of scooters in public areas, as violating scooters were seized and confiscated after transgressions, including riding in non-designated areas, obstructing pedestrian movement, and exposing park and recreational area visitors to risks that affect their safety.
The municipality emphasized that these measures are part of its efforts to raise the level of compliance with regulations and instructions, maintain the safety of visitors, and provide a safe and organized environment within public facilities, contributing to enhancing the quality of life and improving municipal services.
The Asir Municipality indicated that monitoring campaigns will continue in coordination with relevant authorities to detect violations and take legal action against violators, preserving public facilities and ensuring the rights of their users, and promoting the safe and organized use of modern transportation means.
