أدانت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي -باستنكارٍ شديدٍ- استهدافَ الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية الناقلةَ السعوديةَ (وديان) خلالَ عبورها مضيقَ هُرمز، واستهدافَ الناقلة القطرية (الركيات).
وجدَّد الأمين العام للرابطة رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى في بيانٍ، التنديدَ بالاعتداءات الإيرانية الإجرامية المُتكرِّرة، التي تنتهِك القِيَم الدِّينية، والقوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية، وتُقوّض جهودَ استعادة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وشدَّدَ العيسى على التضامُنِ الكاملِ مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ودولة قطر، في كلِّ ما تتخذانه من إجراءاتٍ تحفظ أمنَهما وسفنهما ومصالحَهما الوطنية، مطالبًا إيرانَ بالوقْف الفوريّ لكل ما مِن شأنه تهديدُ أمن المنطقة وسلامة المِلاحة الدولية وإمدادات الطّاقة.
The Muslim World League condemned -in the strongest terms- the targeting of the Iranian Islamic Republic's Saudi tanker (Wadiyan) while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and the targeting of the Qatari tanker (Al-Ruqyat).
The Secretary-General of the League, President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Issa, renewed in a statement the condemnation of the repeated Iranian criminal attacks, which violate religious values, international and humanitarian laws and norms, and undermine efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
Al-Issa emphasized full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar in all measures they take to safeguard their security, their ships, and their national interests, demanding that Iran immediately cease all actions that threaten the security of the region and the safety of international navigation and energy supplies.
