تشهد الحوية، شمال الطائف، أزمة متفاقمة في توفير صهاريج المياه مع دخول موسم الصيف وارتفاع أعداد المصطافين والزوار، ما أدى إلى قفزة كبيرة في أسعار الصهاريج داخل السوق السوداء. ورصدت «عكاظ»، وصول سعر الصهريج العادي إلى نحو 300 ريال، فيما بلغ سعر الصهريج الكبير (السكس) 500 ريال لدى السائقين المنتشرين حول محطات الأشياب، في ظل شح المواعيد وارتفاع الطلب، الأمر الذي ينذر بتصاعد الأزمة مع بداية الإجازة الصيفية.
ويؤكد بعض سكان الحوية، أنهم ينتظرون عدة أيام للحصول على موعد لتعبئة صهريج عبر الموقع الإلكتروني المخصص للحجز، الذي يظهر بشكل متكرر رسالة: «لا توجد مواعيد متاحة لهذا اليوم.. يرجى اختيار يوم آخر». ويقول خالد الروقي، إنه اضطر خلال اليومين الماضيين للاعتماد على عبوات المياه (الجراكل) لتلبية احتياجات الغسيل والشرب وإعداد الطعام، بعد تعذر حصوله على صهريج، فيما أوضح عبدالرحمن العتيبي، أنه تواصل مع أحد السائقين في السوق السوداء فطلب منه 320 ريالاً للصهريج العادي، ما دفعه لنقل عزومة كان قد دعا إليها إلى إحدى الاستراحات تجنباً للإحراج. وأكد آخرون، أن سعر الصهريج الكبير وصل فعلياً إلى 500 ريال.
وأجرت «عكاظ»، تجربة حجز صهريج عبر الموقع الإلكتروني صباح أمس عند التاسعة، إلا أن النظام أظهر عدم توفر أي مواعيد. ويشير الأهالي إلى أن بوادر الأزمة بدأت قبل أسبوعين، لكنها تتصاعد يومياً مع زيادة الاستهلاك وارتفاع الطلب على المياه خلال الصيف.
وتضم الحوية عدداً من محطات الأشياب التي تغذي أحياء واسعة، غير أن ارتفاع الاستهلاك بالتزامن مع زيادة نسب إشغال الفنادق والشقق المفروشة بالمصطافين أسهم في زيادة الضغط على طلبات المياه، ما جعل الأزمة أكثر وضوحاً مع بداية الموسم.

Some residents of Al-Hawiyah confirm that they wait several days to get an appointment to fill a tanker through the designated online booking site, which repeatedly displays the message: "No appointments available for today.. please choose another day." Khalid Al-Ruqai says that he had to rely on water bottles (jerrycans) to meet his needs for washing, drinking, and cooking after he was unable to obtain a tanker. Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi explained that he contacted one of the drivers in the black market who asked him for 320 riyals for a regular tanker, which led him to move a gathering he had invited to one of the rest houses to avoid embarrassment. Others confirmed that the price of the large tanker has actually reached 500 riyals.
"Okaz" conducted an experiment to book a tanker through the online site yesterday morning at nine, but the system showed no available appointments. Residents indicate that the signs of the crisis began two weeks ago, but it is escalating daily with increased consumption and rising demand for water during the summer.
Al-Hawiyah includes several water stations that supply large neighborhoods; however, the rise in consumption, coinciding with the increased occupancy rates of hotels and furnished apartments with vacationers, has contributed to increased pressure on water requests, making the crisis more apparent with the start of the season.
