تنطلق، اليوم (الأحد)، في مدينة جدة فعاليات النسخة الأولى من أسبوع المياه السعودي، الذي تنظمه وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة خلال الفترة من 28 يونيو إلى 2 يوليو 2026، بمشاركة صناع القرار والخبراء والباحثين وممثلي القطاع الخاص والجهات المعنية بقطاع المياه من مختلف دول العالم.
ويهدف الحدث إلى تعزيز الأمن المائي، ودعم الإدارة المستدامة للموارد المائية، وتحفيز الابتكار والبحث العلمي، من خلال برنامج يضم أكثر من 97 جلسة حوارية وورشة عمل متخصصة، إلى جانب استضافة منتدى المياه العربي والاجتماع التشاوري الثاني للمنتدى العالمي للمياه 2027.
كما يشهد الأسبوع معرضًا مصاحبًا يستعرض أحدث التقنيات والابتكارات في مجالات إدارة الموارد المائية والتحلية وإعادة الاستخدام والرقمنة، إضافة إلى توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم مع جهات محلية ودولية لتعزيز التعاون والاستثمار وتبادل الخبرات في قطاع المياه.
Today (Sunday), the first edition of the Saudi Water Week kicks off in the city of Jeddah, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture from June 28 to July 2, 2026, with the participation of decision-makers, experts, researchers, private sector representatives, and stakeholders in the water sector from various countries around the world.
The event aims to enhance water security, support the sustainable management of water resources, and stimulate innovation and scientific research, through a program that includes more than 97 discussion sessions and specialized workshops, in addition to hosting the Arab Water Forum and the second consultative meeting of the World Water Forum 2027.
The week will also feature a concurrent exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the fields of water resource management, desalination, reuse, and digitization, as well as the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding with local and international entities to enhance cooperation, investment, and knowledge exchange in the water sector.
